I took my mom there last week. Her blood pressure got above 200. My mom is an RN. She knew that her Beta Blocker was working against her. She simply wanted to speak to her doctor. She didn't want an exam. I dropped her off at the door and parked. When I entered the building, my mom was at the reception desk. The lady at the reception desk was so nasty to her. When mom spoke, she talked over her, cutting her off. She talked down to her like she was a child. My mom didn't have the strength to put up an argument. She kept saying if you don't think you're getting quality care here maybe you should go to the ER. She wouldn't listen to anything my mom tried to say. The more mom tried to explain, the more confrontational the woman became. Keep in mind they closed at 4. We arrived at 3:50. Few more seconds of this and I would have went to jail! I am still furious about this! I took my mom to the ER and $7000, and 14 hours later, they had her stabilized and informed her of what my mom already knew. NEGATIVE REACTION to Beta Blocker. They told her to follow up with her doctor. My mom loved her doctor but, after this she has lost faith in this place. What good are they if they're unavailable in an emergency situation? Read moreI called today May 31 to ask if new patients were being accepted. When Cynthia answered she sounded annoyed as I am sure the phone had not stopped ringing since the day began. She stated that the doctors were booked out until September and when I answered “oh my” she said “sorry, bye bye” and hung up. She never mentioned looking to see if there had been a cancellation or to express helping in any other way. I suggest she get retrained in customer service. Done this for years no complaint. Get a call to Set up an appointment at 2:00pm on 1-20-2020 for an appointment on 1-21-2020 at 2:00pm for a medicine i use daily. Show up and they say "well the appointment was for yesterday... How does that work? Makes no sense at all.
