Update: They sent someone out the same day I called them to fix the washer. It needed a new motor. The service was fast. Giving 4 stars as I'm still a little concerned about the motor breaking so soon after purchasing.

I bought a washing machine and dryer from them on 11/21/24. There's a 90-day warranty. They claimed on the day of purchase that all the machines they sold were completely rebuilt with new parts. The washer worked fine until today. The spin cycle stopped working, and it was making this VERY LOUD (the washer is in the basement , but the noise could be heard from my 2nd floor apartment) grinding, mechanical noise as if the motor was messed up. This washer gave out in just 1 month. Very poor quality. The washer was never overloaded (loaded well below the fill line), and I had a similar model washer right before buying this one which lasted me nearly 10 years, so I know how to load this washer. To make things worse, they don't offer refunds. I'll change this rating or update this review if they respond appropriately. Walked in, met the owner. I had a washing machine I was trying to repair. He tested my capacitor, then we brought the two (!) motors I had to the basement where he had his repair man stop what he was doing, take apart a similar washing machine to what I had, and test both the motors showing them to be functional. He easily spent 1/2 hour with me trying to diagnose my washing machine problem. His repair man said it was the timer. The cost for that was over $100 on the website, so I decided to buy one of his used washing machines which he helped load into my van.

This isn't a fancy place, and it's in a rougher than average neighborhood. I was unsure where to park since it's not obvious. But there were a ton of options of appliances (used, scratch and dent), and my washer came with a 90 day warranty.

It's hard not to be impressed with someone who runs his business in this way. His efforts to help my diagnose my problem could have easily have cost him a sale. Instead I was happy to...

Brought in a condenser motor fan from my refrigerator. The motor itself was fine but the fan had a broken blade causing it to spin out of balance. I took it to them in hopes of finding a replacement. They took the time to actually disassemble the motor housing, inspect the internal components, relube it and test it. Motor tested good and they had the same diameter fan in their parts. They reassembled it on the spot and confirmed proper operation. All said and done I asked how much I owed them and was told don't worry about it. It was such a friendly gesture I still ended up tipping them for their time. You seldom find people/companies like that. The refrigerator is cooling down and working fine again as I type this....
