We stopped here because we knew that it was where we needed to purchase tickets for the Loretta Lynn Homeplace tour. However, this was only needed if paying via credit card; otherwise, you can pay cash at the Homeplace. We enjoyed the store. A Loretta Lynn family member actually owns and runs and was behind the counter here. The store is very old and very interesting. If you stop in, please use the restroom, as you will find the wall...

Enjoyed our talk with the owner, he was very knowledgeable and a great help for anything and everything about Loretta Lynn, we wasn't able to go see her house and stuff, it was closed due to the "Election Virus" restrictions that the Dems created, so we just enjoyed the pictures and history we found in this store, my wife Loretta Sue was extremely happy and pleased, which is all a MAN could ask for,,...

Absolutely dream fulfilling. Just as imagined. As beautiful as it was in summer I don’t imagine this was an easy life in winter. Take a step back in time at Webb’s Grocery, previously known as the Number 5 Store because of the Number 5 mine located nearby. The General Store near Butcher Hollow and Van Lear, Kentucky is a historic landmark. Built in 1918 for the Consolidation Coal Company, it is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Until 2018, Herman Webb, Loretta Lynn’s brother, ran the store and offered tours of their childhood home down the road. Herman Webb passed away in 2018, leaving the General Store as a reminder of the area’s rich history. #lorettalynn #kentucky #country #countrymusic #countrygirl #countryhumans #fyp #fypsounds #fyppp #foryoupage❤️❤️ #foryoupagе #legend

An absolute monument of American history standing in all of it's glory in Eastern Kentucky. The store offers many pieces of Loretta Lynn & Crystal Gayle memorabilia to view as well as a few items for purchase. Or you can just grab a Coke and listen to stories from the store keeper.
