Part 1- Ok hear me out. I went in blind. Im from SC and have always wanted to try since they are close to home. We'll I have some experience. I went in after signing up online. When I got in it was dead so I figured I could roam some. For whatever reason I was rushed along and told to basically keep my eyes on the display case where I wanted items from. For this trip just a preroll or 2 for the casino. Welp, the budtender just really didnt give 2 craps. He'll no one I talked to did. I let them know it was my first legal buying experience. This didnt amount to a hill of beans to these guys. Typically when you tell them that, they take a little more time explaining what's up, since you are going from buying street pot to a dispensary. This alone can be overwhelming. Well what I didnt tell them is I lived in Denver for about 6 years. I've been in more dispensaries than they have flower options. There is an etiquette for first timers. We'll not here. Listen i didnt expect nothing crazy, but a little empathy for a first timer would be cool. Now the product. Listen fellas, yall run a casino down the street. There is absolutely no reason a pre-roll should be $28, infused or not. Not to mention, forcing us to purchase a $1 bag. See in Denver some stores force you to buy a bag for your product, this bag seals a special way 1 time. The purpose for this is if you get pulled over, the officer can see the bag is still sealed from the dispo and you are sent on your way. Its not a gambit to get an extra buck off of people. The flower in the pre-rolls were mid at best. This is marketed as a nugget pre-roll, yeah and I have a 72 inch vertical, just trust me bro. I've smoked for 25 years, that was a shake preroll, specifically designed to sell the shake you can't sell. The concentrate used wasn't as powerful as advertised. I basically got their form of a moonrock preroll, it wasn't all $28 worth preroll. Its a 1 gram preroll, well guess what bucko, I have eyes, I have a clock, that shiz was 0.8 grams. That's including the 5 miles of filter yall put in it and the paper. So im assuming I got .5 of actual product. I also got a normal half G preroll to power down before hitting the casino. Listen, I have 25 years experience. The harvest date on the tube is from 6 months ago. The thing was stale, had no flavor other than stale, and was so dry that 3 hits in and it was gone brother.....I spent about 40 dollars total on 2 prerolls and there is no reason for that. I just got a quarter pound of royal limez (this deep purple indica) and it cost me 500 bucks. That's off the streets bro. From the weed man down the street. When the weed man down the road has fresher, better, cheaper, product you seriously need to take a minute and back up and punt. Idk if its the monopoly mindset or what but it isnt gonna work long term. I know that $28 preroll, with all the overhead, and price to grow it and roll it, ypu got maybe 3 dollars in it. That profit margin is insanity. Then to charge 1 dollar for a bag that doesnt even do what its supposed to do is bunk. Also ANY dispensary I've EVER been to, there are 2 for sure "freebies" 1 is your birthday each shop has some small thing they do for that, maybe a free 8th, maybe a preroll, maybe a discount but their is absolutely something. The other is your 1st visit to any location. Same concept but most give you a freebie of somesort. Then once I get to the very end, im told by the guy handing me my preroll that im good to roam around some and look. Like at the very end of the store š¤¦āāļø its the principal here guys. I didnt feel welcome enough to roam after being barricaded by the other 6 employees there. If anything i felt they were aggravated, and had the mind set of "great another 1st timer"... you need to understand that for some of us, weed is very important. Its saved our lives in many ways unique to each of us. We have had to buy the shit off the streets forever. The day a person gets to walk in and buy some legit weed for the 1st time, its a milestone for them they will...
Read moreOld live resin dated back to November 2022also May 2023. When I called April was the name of the woman on the answering machine. That was 1/12/2025. Today 1/30/2025 April answered and she remembered my initial call to complain. She never returned my call. She passed the phone to her manager and I advised the of the dates on packaging and she said it wasn't retails decision to give me a refund. Wth??? Like any consumer I despise hoops or bull shit. I had witness to my call present. She advised me that someone in management from the farm would call??? Really.... I have the receipts dated 1/09/2025 also 1/10/2025... I reside over 1.5 hrs away and spent over $100.00 at the reservations Great Smoky Cannibus. Live resins keep for a year in the freezer if properly stored 2 years with potency disappation. Why would the Cherokee Nation allow this lack of quality in their product??? Why have my comments fallen on deaf ears?? Why was I told today that a manager from the farm would call and not one call from anyone yet???? What kind of scam is the Cherokee cannibus company pulling??? It's very bad buisness to sell outdated stock as new especially at their prices. Man they want 50.00 for an eighth. THATS CRAZY..... THE VAPES ARE OLD STOCK BE CAREFUL AND AVOID BUYING THEM. UNLESS THEY DISCLOSE THE HARVEST DATE TO YOU.......D.T.GILES.... ¤¤¤¤ UPDATE ¤¤¤¤
Date 9/29/2025 As of today there has still been no return call by a manager or anyone from the farm that April spoke of. After numerous attempts, deaf ears are all the buisness seems to have about their bad product and now terrible customer service after the sale. The G.S.M.C. Co. Has seemingly avoided the issue now for months. Granted it's been since January and the 30 day return policy has expired. I still have the receipts and vapes. Along with the nice little black zip lock bag with their logo, your purchases are given to you in. That's not a $100 zip lock. Nor was the expired old live resin worth the money I spent or time and effort to reach out to them. G.S.M.C. Co. Should have grown from their experience with my situation. Instead they have failed me as a consumer of their product and services. By not even attempting to reach out to me, after many calls of my own to resolve the expired live resin issue. Indicating to me that they are a bad buisness from top to bottom. That's management/ ownership down to most likely their employees such as April. I was hoping they would have for the sake of good buiness and resolve, taken care of the issue. So many people have read my truthful and detailed original review. I feel I owed them an UPDATE to the lack of resolution and bad buisness that G.S.M.C. Co. has so distasteful shown to be true in my buisness with them. The retail shop blaming the farm for their mistake is an excuse for their poor customer service and care after the sale. No manager calling is a communication issue or a direct defiance to correctly handle this matter. Maybe they just hoped this would go away?? I don't know what their reasoning is?? The farm did not sell me the product the retail store Great Smokey Mountain Cannibus Co., did. The receipt is fro G.S.M.C. Co., not the farm or farms they purchase from. Signaling retail issue and failure as a good buiness in my situation. After nearly 2800 people read this review. The G.S.M.C. Co., never did a thing to make this right or correct their issues with me... Having said that, I can only come to a conclusion in my experience with them. That G.S.M.C. Co., is indeed a bad buisness I purchased from in January early this year. Their lack of resolve warrants never returning to do buisness with them again. Additionally to recommend any local person, tourist, or occasional smoker passing thru, to beware of what they are selling to you. To not patronize the the G.S.M.C. Co., is probably your safest move. Other dispensaries in the area are terrific and friendly.... I cannot recommend G.S.M.C. Co., to anyone. Because of the bad buisness and lack of resolve they have shown me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTotal and absolute frauds. Sold thousands of āmedicalā cards to the common man that were useless for a dispensary that wasnāt even open yet, nor had an opening date. The cards were intentionally sold for $100 each, purposely to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars off of innocent people who needed medical care, not even including the cost of the doctorās visit. They sold cards for nearly a year for a closed dispensary. Thatās fraud. In EVERY OTHER a medical jurisdiction, medical marijuana is taxed at a HUGE discount, because it is medicine. These frauds created a fake program to rip off innocent people and steal their money, knowing a dispensary wasnāt open, knowing they were going recreational when it did open, and lied about it all. Not one person benefitted from the medical program. Medical cards are exclusively for those who NEED the product for medical reasons, and this was not a valid medical program. They sold cards to steal money and knew they were not going to honor their commitments. Medical marijuana is way cheaper and more potent, also allowing a person to possess more product, NONE OF WHICH the EBCI ever intended to provide. A class action lawsuit should be filed against them. I applied for a card, paid my $100 fee, being non-Cherokee, and told them to please hold my card and not issue it until the dispensary opened. Why would ANYONE want a useless piece of plastic for $100?! So I received my card in late May last year that was issued January!! Why would you not mail someone their card for a medically necessary medication almost five months later? They said āwe held it for you because you never came to pick it up,ā which was a lousy excuse. I live a full 3 hours plus away and NEVER told them I would be by to pick it up, simply to hold my card and mail it out like they did for every other common person in NC!! So I asked for what was mine and what I paid for and told her that I would need her to reset the issue date to the date I received the card, which is the right thing to do when they had my phone number, email address, and mailing address to contact me and tell me that the card had been issued. They lied telling me they had called, left messages and emailed me to tell me it was issued. So after this idiot told me there was nothing she could do, I told her to let me speak to a supervisor that could. Her supervisor was even worse. He told me he would simply erase my name and eligibility from the system if I had any complaints. When I applied for my much needed card, I told them multiple times to please not issue the card until they had the dispensary open. I wrote this also on my application in bold letters. Iām sure it is illegal to sell cards to a place that isnāt open, yet they preyed upon thousands of NC residents like myself. I hope this place fails and people go to places like Colorado where quality bud is sold for prices as low as $20 an ounce. Place seems like a ripoff of stale bud that isnāt of the quality of the stuff from your corner smoke shop. I guess they want to take advantage of the white man for things that happened hundreds...
