Orbit Ice Arena — Local services in Palatine Township

Orbit Arena is easily accessed as it is located just off Route 53, on Northwest Highway, close to the Postal Service Distribution Centre. The ice surface needs work and the nets and goals need painting and net replacements. Great bar with a good view of the ice surface, if you are able to get a seat near he windows. First time to this rink and overall not bad. The ice was really good and the place was clean, but that is to be expected since it is still pretty new. Now the locker rooms if that's what they call them are a joke they are a storage closet with some benches. Also there is very little seating, but again the place is only so big I get it. My kid plays hockey here and I have, too. Ice is great... better than Canlan's and others in the area. They have a bar with adult lounge that serves food with an awesome view of the rink. Makes it easy to get work done on the laptop while having a drink and being on the glass without freezing. Bartenders are friendly and food is decent.
