West Meadows Ice Arena — Local services in Palatine Township

It’s always clean, there is seating outside of the locker rooms and bleachers. The rink is a nice size and the place is very clean. There is a small concession stand and an area to eat as well as some vending options. There is plenty of space to park as well. I have been taking my niece here for years and the commute has never been much of an issue even during rush hour as the building itself is off down a side road but it has two entrance/exits to the main road which is very helpful. If you are hungry there is also plenty around the rink food wise if the concession stand isn’t open at the time. West Meadows is a solid rink all around. Nothing fancy but the place is always clean and the ice is really good consistently. They have huge stands so if there is going to be a crowd this is a good rink to use. It's right off 53 and very easy for most people to get to.

They need a concession stand or some vending machines that are stocked up. Possibly with covid the stand is done but they need something for when there is games I am sure a lot of people would buy drinks and food...

I play adult ice hockey at West Meadows at least once week. Location is easily accessible from both highway and main roads. Big parking lot is able to handle even the jam packed days. Inside there is one sheet of ice. Plenty of room in the stands to watch the kids play. Staff is extremely helpful. Shout out to Luke.
