I went to Skydive Palatka to skydive for the first time on my birthday. I had the most amazing time!!

The entire staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. All of the instructors and videographers were awesome and fun.

I was lucky enough to have Art as my instructor. He’s absolutely the best! So funny and cool. He made sure I had the best, most adrenaline fueled birthday ever!! 💖

I’ve done a lot of industrial health and safety work and I appreciated how Art and everyone else were constantly checking and double checking equipment, altitude, and time; and worked like a well oiled team - I felt no worries.

I highly recommend purchasing the video package if it’s your first jump. Scotty was my videographer and he did an amazing job! Those videographers are really crazy! 🤣

I received a link to my video package within hours and love the amazing video they sent. Of course I’ve shared it with everyone I know!! But what really surprised me was the number of high quality photos they sent as well. So worth the money! Personally, I think you’d be crazy to jump the first time and not get the video/pictures. 🤪

They sent me a link for a discounted second skydive and as soon as I get my taxes filed I’m taking advantage of it!

I had planned on Skydiving for my 60th birthday in July, but unfortunately my brother passed away so my summer plans changed and I didn't think I would be able to do it. But on a pre-planned trip to Florida my wife surprised me with a jump. This place is great! The tandem instructor Angelo was funny, but professional and made sure I wasn't nervous. (I wasn't, but my adrenaline was pumping like crazy.)The videographer Scotty did a great job also and its well worth the upgrade to record the experience. The jump itself was awesome and is so great that about halfway through freefall I found I was laughing my a** off. Before we left I was given a certificate with both Angelo's and Scotty's sigs and license numbers. I was also handed a survey card to complete. Since it was printed on an envelope I figured it was to be mailed in. But after we left I found it didn't have address on it. I now assume I was to complete it on the spot. It also had a note that said "tipping is appreciated but not expected. " I wish I had known that sooner as I was on such an adrenaline high that I didn't look at the envelope for hours. Google says "Describe your experience." This skydiving facility is my second home. The staff is knowledgeable, playful, team oriented. I've got to appreciate and respect people who are passionate about what they do. For experienced jumpers, there is an HP (high performance) landing area adjacent to the main landing area (which is East/West only) just across a taxi way. The student area is located in the central area of the airport with plenty of open space to land which is perfect for breezy wind conditions or beginners! There is a transportation provided if you decide to land there. There is currently a lil' caravan and two 182 planes. There are plenty of places to choose from to rent a room or feel free to come and camp with us.There are always friendly and laid back people to jump with if you're feeling social. Come to do a tandem jump, come to get certified, come spend a day at Skydive Palatka and see what it's all about!! It is simply the best!!
