An extremely beautiful river though its low this year (2018) in grand junction during the runoff season but now should be pretty high and hopefully not but might possibly flood in the Colorado State this year (2019) due to the extremely heavy amount of mountain runoff. The river is usually pretty cold during the summer but always fun to swim in, even the small river currents (which I would definitely not recommend to anyone because of possibly drowning). I've seen people in small boats and also cruising down the river on a paddle board.

This time on our vacation near Moab, we got to see the Colorado River not only everyday but most hours of the day. We saw rafters, paddle boarders, people in tubes, and kayaks, every single day! Not only on the river but pretty much every campsite was taken near the river, with campfires burning in the night. We have rafted this river 5 times and this year the water level is down, but it is not stopping people having fun on it. This location of the Colorado River near Hwy 128 is a scenic feast of the eyes, and it never gets old.

This is the Colorado River closes to Moab Utah and it is beautifully landscaped by nature with gorgeous rock formations. Walked across the bridge and captured some nice video. We stayed in Moab and the town was interesting. It is a good place to stay to visit 3 National Parks, which are Arches, Capitol Reef and Canyonlands. I have been to all three and loved them all. They are all three different and absolutely beautiful. I recommend all three.

Formally know as the Grand River. Came out of Grand Lake. Colorado started at the Green and Grand confluence. Now the Colorado headwaters are north coming into Grand Lake. Amazing river beautiful in everyway. Humans destroy it as often as they can just like everything else. It used to be used to feed America fresh fruits and vegetables in the winter time. Now it just get used to water overpopulated people in California. We destroy the rainforest for our fruits and vegetables in the...
