right before the hurricane, I purchased a couple different packs of meats. Chicken and pork chops. I live less than a half-mile from the store and immediately put them in my freezer. I took the chicken out to cook it and it was very spoiled even though it was still within the sell-by date. This also happened with a couple other packs of chicken that I've got from them in the past. A couple days ago I bought a pack of chicken breasts and the guy said they were just put out. I went home put them in my refrigerator to cook them later on that evening for dinner and when I took them out, they were all so spoiled. I called the manager to refuse to do anything about it including replace them and that is why I am leaving a negative review. I will never purchased another thing from the store. The prices are good but the quality of meat is horrible and although it's super convenient to where I live I would never risk my family's health over this kind of...

I’ve purchased turkey wings from this meat market on two separate occasions, and both times, I received noticeably less meat than what was originally weighed. The portions I was given didn’t even match what was shown at the scale—there were clear missing pieces. In today’s economy, this kind of deceptive practice is unacceptable.

It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing to spend hard-earned money only to be shorted. I strongly suggest customers carefully inspect their meat bags before leaving the store and, if possible, watch closely over the counter when items are being cut and packaged. Aquila was the only Market available during Covid and they seemlessly managed to be fully stocked. When we couldn’t get bread they had it! It’s sweet bread not my favorite but they back fresh. There Steak is nice and very reasonable. You can buy ox tail and Turkey legs and their supply of island spices and hot sauces excellent! They close at 5 pm and don’t come 5:01 ! They are friendly and they butcher their meat and have large seafood supply mostly frozen including clams and octopus. They don’t carry sashimi grade anything I wish they did.
