Good experience. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Where you enter the theater isn't the way you leave so go the opposite way you came in. That's the only thing I wished they would've told me. Picture was clear and the sound for most of the movies is loud enough that you don't need your radio on. A few pro tips bring an actual radio so you don't have to have your cars on, wet wipes because the bathroom lines can be long and food can make you wish you had an easy solution, and lastly lawn chairs. If you have multiple people riding with you. Makes it so everyone can see. Please be considerate of those around you. I had a couple on one side of me giving spoilers to an old movie I never seen before and was excited to see on a big screen. Extremely rude. Keep those comments to yourself. And on the other side the car talked and laughed so loudly it really took away from the movie. I understand that we are all out having fun but if your going to talk through the movie keep your voice down so it doesn't doesn't take away from others around you. Venue is very nice love that is from the 50's and still being used today! Let's keep supporting them so they can keep...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy favorite place to go for date night when they actually play movies that appeal to adults. The last couple of years they've really fallen off. They'll either play the same movies for WEEKS in a row (Guardians of the Galaxy played for 4 weeks & both days in a row in 2023, Barbie & Super Mario Bros for 2 weeks both days), play kids movies back to back to back, and/or shut down for a month out of the already short season. I get appealing to kids, but the drive in is open so late it doesn't make sense to play their movies the majority of the weekends. Their concessions are decently priced. The dusk til dawn event is always the highlight of the year for me. The horror movies they play are always great picks. I'd love to see more horror, action, thrillers, and rom coms added to the list. I'm also very happy that they decided to let you bring outside food and drinks at a cost. I'll always support Midway over...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDusk to Dawn horror fest - we go every year. Everyone is great. Great time. We spend about $60 in concessions when we go. AT LEAST.
I wish the concessions were a little less basic. I'd also appreciate more condiments or add ons like pickles/relish, onions, tomatoes, mayo, etc. for the plain hot dogs and hamburgers. Maybe add in brats with a nicer bun, chili cheese fries, chicken sandwiches, coffee or hot cocoa (for these late season, late night events)...
My husband has grown to hate the intermission ads and trailers because he believes they are the same year after year but I don't mind. I like seeing them! The best year was 2010, though... That might have been the last time we saw original stuff we hadn't seen before.
Other than that, we love the Midway! Clean great owners who care and are friendly, and always a happy face in the box office. See you next...
