This guy, Nick, is an accomplished arborist. Or guy who works on trees.

I watched him and his crew take down a giant twisted Deodar cedar in a neighbor's yard a couple houses away, and said to myself I need this guy. I strolled over and he told me no job too big or too small. They were set up with bomb-proof rope anchors and rope as thick as a garden hose and safety gear, doing everything right. Another neighbor was watching as well and she said you don't have to worry about this guy, I know about tree work and you don't have to worry about whoever this guy is.

I just moved out of Trinity County where I knew a man who would ice-cream-cone a 200-foot fir for $35/hour, so Nick's quote seemed way pricey, but this is a different world down here. And the price included however many people it takes to safely work the ground ropes and haul away the slash.

I went a little short on what I wanted done, and Nick gave me a chance to reconsider, before he took the rigging down. He wasn't pushy about it at all, just gave me an option to consider. I'm guessing he would have affably cut off the extra oak branch for half-price since the ropes were already set, but I would have paid for another full hour, because this guy acted straight.

Walker's Tree Service also climbed into my thorny old orange tree and rounded off the top so it looks like a Renaissance painting now.

Long story short, Walker's Tree Service did an excellent job for a fair price. I will call them in a minute if I ever come to want another tree...

Recently hired Walker's Tree Service to take down 2 large oak trees near our home and garage. When I called their office I had to leave them a message. Sybil returned my call promptly, addressed any questions I had and was both knowledgeable and thorough. Nick came, assessed the situation and gave us a very reasonable quote, then had us call his office to have Sybil put us on their work calendar, which was within that same week. On the day of takedown, Nick and Cliff were right on time and ready to rock'n' roll. Nick explained his strategy and along with Cliff, they meticulously had both trees down and bucked up in no time flat, with perfection! Watching them work was simply amazing. You can tell by their awesome attitudes and their professionalism that they enjoy what they do and are great at it! Now we know why their company reviews are so highly rated. We are extremely fortunate to have them doing business in our community, most definitely recommend them to anyone and if need be, we will use them again...

What a great bunch of guys, they worked hard! I'm amazed at the transformation of my yard once they cleared the brush back and trimmed up the trees it had opened up my yard a lot. What a professional group of guys. I had two fir trees in the backyard that I was going to cut down and have the stumps ground out, Nick explained to me that they were actually healthier than I thought and that he could trim them up so they were more manageable, where he could have just cut him down and charged me for grinding out the stump so I appreciate that he stopped to actually look at it and advise instead of just cut it down.
