Not sure if I should do this review, as it is primarily a local spot, but it was gorgeous! Be careful on the steps, and in the spring, which is constantly luke-warm. Swim with the fishes, wear shoes in the water, and watch out for some of the grass and crawdads in the water. My family and I really enjoyed this spring, so glad we found it, but my wife and I both had a couple incidents while in, or getting in the water. My wife got pinched on the ankle by a craw fish, but the view, and water were great. Highly recommend, as this is probably the best local experience to have in Panaca outside of living there. Keep safety in mind, as this is a free, public, and semi-wild location. All the locals we came across were great, but every town has...

I definitely recommend stopping if you clean up after yourself and respect the locals and the place. There are little fish and some spots are deep enough that you can't touch the bottom standing. Would be a great place to bring kids with...

It's about 5 feet deep. There is a man-made basin partially surrounding a natural water source, so expect slippery moss, rocks beneath your feet, and to share the water with fish...
