I grew up not far away in Smyrna and only recently discovered my maternal grandfather and grandmother are buried here. We never met or discussed them, and I'm not sure why they are buried here. William G. Mann (died 1960) and Irene B. Mann (died 1967). They lived on Metropolitan Avenue SE in "East" Atlanta, one mile east of Grant Park. Their children are passed on, but I thought I would leave a note for their descendants if they are searching for ancestors: William G. Mann (Jr.) born 1930, Charles Mann born 1933, Patricia born 1927, and Richard Williams (stepson) born 1920. Irene was from Chicago and Richard Williams was her son. William G. was an attorney and a business partner with his father William E. until 1941. William E. is buried in West Hill Cemetery, Dalton,...
