On the way to Denver from Grand Junction I decided to stop at Battlement Mesa for a quick 18. Got a solo tee time about 50 minutes after arriving and this course did not disappoint! The architecture of the course made it challenging enough for somebody who is around scratch, especially from the tips; but its also beginner friendly from the forward boxes. The course itself is in fantastic condition overall, the greens are fairly fast paced, and the back nine has some of the best views of the surrounding mesas and the Colorado river which carved it all. Green fees are worth every penny because the course is in such great shape, so much so that I made sure to give my regards to the grounds crew. The staff at the course were all very kind and welcoming, and if I’m ever passing back through I-70 again, I will make sure to set aside four hours so I can play 18 here again.

Man this was a fun course to play. Not exactly wide open, but not as enclosed as Lakota Canyon. It had enough twists, turns, curves to keep you guessing on shots. Fairways, tee boxes and greens were in great shape. Good sized driving range, plus putting and chipping areas. Staff was super friendly. From check in to snack bar girl, even had a nice talk with a maintenance girl on what she was working on in the middle of the fairway. Great course for the price. Highly recommend you play this Battlement Mesa. You will have fun

The course was great the golf staff was great , unfortunately the restaurant staff was another story. I ordered with friends and our order was misplaced and we waited for a very long time , then my sandwich (BLT) was the worst in my life !! The bacon was burnt black and tooth breaking hard. I ate the sandwich with caution and opted to leave a review rather then Hassel with a confrontation there . Pretty bad !! Also a week earlier tried the special of grilled cheese and tomotoe basil soup , the soup was not a great basil soup. The other orders with my BLT at my table were OK no complaints. But that BLT that was placed for me should have never...

What an amazing experience and golf course. We were welcomed by Zan the minute we walked through the door and I knew we were in for a special treat. Coming up from Steamboat Springs was worth the trip and we look forward to coming back. The grounds are emaculate and the course conditions were a 10! A BIG shout out to the greens crew and Superintendent. Also the starter, the ranger, cart woman, restaurant employees and everyone else these people are a 'better than most' and it shows. Thanks for the amazing golf on a superb course and a really great experience with my...
