Dollar General — Local services in Paradise Township

This is the worst store in the entire world. My mother Julie Klein worked so hard for 7 years at this store. She has been fighting stage 4 lung cancer for 3 years. Last month she refused to quit so tjat she could get her inventory bonus to make sure her family would be taken care of. She couldn't wait any longer to quit. She was losing weight, getting sick, and worked until she was overly exhausted. She did it because she took pride in her work. She cared too much. What for? This corporation only care about the almighty dollar. And because she couldn't work until the day she could get that inventory check they denied it from her. You people are the most horrible. She did everything she could from working 70 hours a week, working 3 to 4 weeks in a row because you wouldn't allow her to give her hours to give to employees, and also allowing her so few employees to hire to cover shifts. I hate you for what you've put her through for years. You'll read this and won't care at all. Thanks for making her miserable. I hope all her customers who loved her write in to this company. Let them know what an amazing woman she was. I'm here with her now for her last days. She had the best work ethic, she cares too much, she is an amazing mother to 3 kids who will continue to live our lives to the fullest because of the life lessons she instilled in us. I shop there quite often I live here in Kingsley however today I went there and apparently they're closing at 5:00 p.m. now until further notice which I understand for whatever the reason is it's none of my business however the older lady that told me that they were closed open the door and just looked at me were closed not I'm sorry sir we're closed nothing like that no kind of respect or kindness or anything towards me as a customer just open the door and says we're closed that's the person out and then shuts the door behind her very rude now just because you're having a bad day or maybe there's a shortage of staffing or whatever the reason is does not mean you can be rude to your customers this happened at like 4:58 today p.m. I was there 2 minutes before closing all I wanted to do was look for something to put on my coffee table that was...

The problem is the new store manager who can't over ride a price for the actual price on the sticker and tried to make me over pay. Then today they have signs up that if you don't have the exact change they can not do the transaction which is highly illegal. I should have overpaid and made her pay me 5x more on quite a few occasions. It's unfortunate but if they can't do business legally they may have to close their doors. Not taking legal tender is discriminating against the poor of they can't make exact change. This manager forcing this policy can be personally sued for this decision to force her employees to...
