Walmart — Local services in Paris

So before I was going to check out I noticed my phone had died. I needed to unlock my card and when my car charger wasn't working I took it in the store and asked an employee of there was some where I could plug it in for just a minute. The guy was very nice and showed me a spot on a pole in electronics. I thanked him and while I did so two other guys came by and asked if I needed help I said no I was just getting my phone back on. Well, while that was doing it's thing I stepped 3 feet away and was looking at security cameras and as soon as I turned my back a guy comes and unplugs it and sets it on the counter I head this and turned around to him VERY RUDELY SAY U CANT USE OUR ELECTRIC! like okay bro bt u aren't gonna talk to me some sort of way I asked before and he said I don't care you can't use it. Um okay again u don't need to use tht tone with me I'm just getting it on so I can spend my money here BRO! He THEN SAYS HE IS GONNA CALL THE COPS ON ME AND GETS HIS Phone OUT! WHAT The ACTUAL HELL FOR ? THEN SAYS I HAVE TO LEAVE! IM LIKE NO I DONT FOR WHAT REASON? HE THEN SAYS FOR CAUSING A SCENE..THERE WAS NOONE AROUND I WAS HUMILIATED AND SCARED OF HIS BEHAVIOR! DO NOT GO IN HERE THESE ARE SOME BACKWARDS UN PROFESSIONAL IDIOTS! AND ON A PERSONAL NOTE I WORKED FOR WALMART IN ANOTHER TOWN FOR YEARS MY MOM WORKED FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND I JUST WANT TO SAY SHAME ON HIM NEVER TREAT SOMEONE Like THAT IS...

Not so about the store more so the assistant manager, I was with my little sisters and their junior high cheer team raising money for fill the bus, and I believe her name was patty, she walked in very rude and harsh saying we don’t need to be harassing customers and such and that we do not need to be demanding. I was not upset about the things she was saying but the way she was saying it her voice was very raised and angry, then when she walked out of the Walmart she screamed and put her hands in a 13 year old girls face while screaming at them for “sitting on the table” which from when I looked over they were learning it could have been different from her point of view. But she was very very harsh and once again got in a child’s face. Then came outside to the stand and yelled at the girls’s coach saying she was the assistant manager not just some customer. there are cameras that will show the most in the way thing was stand in the door way talking until we noticed the person and apologized. a girl was outside kinda screaming and asking for donations which i could understand how that can be overwhelming but still they are little girls and did not deserve this treatment, especially from a grown woman who let it known that she had a higher position...

Okay, this is a VERY small Wal-Mart, compared to what I'm used to in Texas. Maybe a quarter of the size of the Wal-Mart's we have here. I was very surprised by the lack of products, and the lack of selection, at this store. As an example, there were only 3 brands of ice cream, and one was the Wal-Mart brand. They had 2 flavors of Ben and Jerry's, and 2 flavors of Blue Bell. I've seen more selection than that at some convenience stores here in Texas.

And the pricing seemed very high for a Wal-Mart. The prices were also more similar to what you would see in a 7-11. A box of 50 plastic spoons, just standard cheap Wal-Mart generic spoons, was four dollars. I expected to pay about a dollar and a half. Even the store brand ice cream was over 4 dollars, and it was terrible, honestly.

This store is okay or convenient for situations like traveling, if you are staying in a hotel and really need the basics. I gave 3 stars because the service was very friendly. They also close fairly early for a Wal-Mart, a full hour earlier than what it...
