Ok so…this was barely a good time. I’ll start with the good. Bus was on time. Easy to find pick up location. Bus was air conditioned. The driver and his sidekick were entertaining at times. We got back on time. Now for the disappointments…it took us at least 20 min to even see the first point of interest. during this 20 min June bug did a roll call where we all introduced ourselves. Where we from. What we do for a living etc. Lame. I didn’t want a meet and greet with 25 strangers on a comedy bus tour. How bout spend that time talking about Nashville. The things we are about to see. Make it funny. All they did was point out the window and say this is bla bla bla. And so and so owns it. One fact per location. Then we stopped for a bathroom break for 20-30 min. Said we were at some museum. For us to go in and see the place, but one of their signature redneck margaritas from some kiosk in the lobby. Ha. All this had to offer was a bathroom and a gift shop for the museum. You had to pay to enter the museum and the bus was picking us up in 20 min. So not like any of us would ever do that. Then we just drove to where all the bars are and he just read the names of them as we passed said who owned them. Then we saw printers alley. Could have really elaborated on those cool places but no. Then we drove 20 min back to our cars and he continues the meet and greet until we arrived back. What a waste of time. I didn’t even take pics. 2/10 do...
Read moreWe booked this instead of a traditional show based on the awesome reviews. Maybe I had it built up in my mind after that but I was a little disappointed in the experience. First of all it is $45 per person for the tour. It is difficult to find the bus stop as it is in a dark and empty parking lot. We got on the bus and got going pretty quickly. Rowdy was our tour guide and he started off with a few funny jokes. Most of which we had heard before either on Jeff Foxworthy or Facebook. Next he went through and asked every single person on the bus their name and what they did for a living. The funniest thing about the whole ride was the jokes he made about the first couple introduced. However, I didn’t really care to spend 20 minutes of the 80 minutes on the bus hearing the other people’s names and occupations. Next we stopped at the landing and you could get out and walk to the moonshine place for free samples or you could go get ice cream. We were there for about 30 minutes. This isn’t something special about the tour because anyone can walk in the moonshine place and sample it at anytime. After the landing we drove straight to the drive thru Christmas lights and Rowdy told a few more jokes along the way. The lights were beautiful. They normally cost $25 a car load to drive thru. Over all it was a decent time and the guys on the bus were nice but was it worth $45 per person? I don’t think so. We were pretty disappointed what we got...
Read moreWe loved this tour - Joey, the comedian, & Uncle Jr, the bus driver, were the best! Joey was super funny & did a great job explaining everything during our tour. We ended up doing a few of the activities that he suggested & ate at several of the places that he mentioned.
one issue that we encountered: I reserved/purchased our tour online in February for a mid-April date & the information that I was given as far as tour pick up location & time changed. No one ever contacted me & when we went to the tour pick up place it was permanently closed. I called the number for the redneck comedy bus & there is no way to speak to a person or ask questions. Fortunately, the road that we took to get to the hotel where we were staying, had a bar on it where there was a redneck comedy bus parked at certain times during the day. We decided to stop by & ask if this was where the pick up was & the bar staff told us that is was - the time changed to 30 minutes later though. I don't understand why no one would call tours that were booked to let them know about these the changes - that should be the first thing you would do to make sure everyone has the correct information. If we hadn't seen the busses on the way to our hotel, we would have missed our tour. The same thing happened to...
