Swamp Monster Airboat Tours — Local services in Parkland

TLDR: highly recommend this tour!

I went on a 3:00 tour in mid April with 7 people in the group, including kids 11, 9, and 6. Captain Bryan was a knowledgeable guide, who gave us an entertaining and relaxing ride.

We saw plenty of alligators, blue heron, osprey, and a variety of othe birds. Our favorite were the momma gaters with their babies, and the fish jumping nearly into the boat.

For anyone looking for an everglades tour while on a visit to the Boca or Palm Beach area, this is a great way to see the everglades and its wildlife without the long drive to the national park and without hokey gift shops where you will ultimately spend more money than you want of expect.

Highly recommend for anyone in Ft Lauderdale and West Palm areas to book with Swamp Monsters. Had a great time on our tour, exploring the serene Everglades and learning more about the habitat. Brian was a great tour guide, he helped us identify all the different birds we saw, he made sure the kids had fun on the boat ride and Brian found great locations to see so many gators. There were hatchlings we observed, there were juveniles swimming in front of the boat with us and large adults that Brian spotted along the sides that were amazing to see in the wild. This is by far the best air boat tour in South Florida. It’s a more intimate experience without a larger boat and large groups of people. The only guests are you and your friends or family. The staff are super informative and take you through a beautiful area that has something fun for everyone. In addition to the diverse flora and fauna, there’s interesting protected cabins, wide waterways, narrow paths and high and low speed turns and twists.
