We just happened to stop here on our way elsewhere....clean restrooms are plus..we were planning on eating at a place down the road a wats, but after looking at what was available, we ate her. I consider myself to be good judge of fried, baked, roasted chicken...I LOVE CHICKEN...WE RAISE CHICKENS..’nuf said.at a certain point you can’t get any better, but you can be equal to other fried chicken...I have not had better fried chicken, mashed potatoes and cream gravy than I got here...I have had as good, but you cannot get better. My list of good chicken places includes, Stroud’s, Brookfield Inn, Churck’s, Popeyes, Pizza Ranch, the Family Table...I do not include Kansas favorites, Chicken Mary’s or Chicken Annie’s.

This place in not fancy, it’s a gas station, thrum storm, convenience store, diner.

Try it...you’ll like it.

This is the first time I have written a review...I usually won’t waste my time doing so, but I LIKE THEIR CHICKEN....MORE...

We stop every time we pass by going to and from our family for visits every few weeks. True story....we were headed back into KC from the passing of my mom in law the morning of. We stopped to use restroom. I went in. Hus and was filling car with gas. Adult son was nowhere to be seen. I went out to car no husband. Went back in and circled store twice. The male clerk looked at me funny. I said I lost my husband. Without cracking a smile he said take your time it happens all the time. I still don't see my son either. I stand behind the racks by door and 2 other female clerks get nervous with me just standing there looking around. I said again I lost my husband. Look the car is there attached to the pump! At that moment 23 minutes later here he comes out of the bathroom and walks right past me and doesnt say a word! I yell after him "there you are" and follow him and get in the car. I love this place. Order food from the grill. You...

Love coming here. The service is great. The facilities are awesome. Showers, laundry, drivers lounge. The food is good but in my opinion not worth what you have to pay for it. The prices are pretty high considering the fact it is a Truck stop. I'm here almost on a daily basis so I've grown accustomed to the prices for the kitchen. The rest f the store is pretty normal. Lots of knic knacs to buy. Wide variety of items. All in AL I still give this store a Five star. Great place to stop a rest if your on HWY 400 and or HWY 59 since it sits right on...
