I called to ask a simple question and a gentleman named Caleb answered. I was asking them if they provided a specific PAID service, quartering a very large bird and how much it would cost. He told me to look it up on YouTube. I told him it was just too large to do myself and I didn't have anything big enough to even cut this thing. Then he told me they are too busy. I said okay and went to hang up and told my friend, "they are just too busy" as I took the phone from my face. Caleb yelled back through the phone as I hung up. I was simply asking if they provided a service, for a fee obviously. IDK if he had a bad day or what but I won't be calling them again. I should say that the reason that they were recommended to me was because somebody close to me worked with Leanne and I was told how awesome they are. If it's not a service that they offer I completely understand that, but that isn't what I was told, I was told they were too busy. Being too busy is also fine, I just did not expect that kind of tone from anyone. I appreciate the explanation and apology, hence the change...

The kindness and compassion they show their customers who are in a "rough spot" is incredible! The first time they helped us was in December 2022. We were coming home from the hospital visiting my precious Momma, it was Christmas Eve. We had been so busy taking care of my parents, we didn't even plan Christmas dinner for our family. We saw their light on, and stopped in. They had just locked the door and turned the lights off before I could get out in my wheelchair and get to the door. Caleb saw me and opened the door. Typically, a prime rib roast is out of our budget, but we had been through so much we decided to just do it that year. Caleb also took the time to explain to us how to cook such a beautiful and tasty piece of meat.
Recently, I went to Knutzen's Meats for some bones to make beef broth with for canning my soups. Again, they were amazing!
I tell you, Grandpa Bud is so proud of...
Read moreWe had a cow processed by Knutzens and I donât like it. What a messy way to thaw out meat. We were told butcher paper prevents freezer burn but thatâs a complete lie. Havenât had my cow for 6 months and my meats already getting freezer burn. I can see why they say butcher paper prevents it because itâs cheaper. Vaccum sealing is more expensive but it does not let freezer burn happen. I donât like that all my cuts have bones in them. Some of my ground beefâs had pieces of bone in them. Which to me is disgusting when youâre chewing your burger and a bone comes in between. Needless to say I have my questions about that processing aswell. I personally would not use this...
