Normally, when not being aerated, the greens are in great shape...maybe the best in the north county. Staff is always friendly. This course is in better shape than La Purisima. Two complaints however...the vineyard placement on 6, 8, and, to a lesser extent on 11, is ridiculous. Completely took away the natural flow of the course. The Links is planning to develop 290 pads for RVs which will destroy the community and the golf course. Who wants to play golf in a field of RVs? I rate this course a 4 because it has its own unique features. Enjoy the layout. The course looks like it is being remodeled or get a facelift. Greens are nice and fast. Great for beginner and immediate golfers. Must warn you though there is no shade at all. Wide open course so be prepared on a hot day. This will soon be a RV golf...
