I am a new member here. And enjoy the fact that there are not a ton of people having to wait for certain things to use. I don’t feel gawked at when trying to lose weight and get fit here like other places I have experienced. But the people at the front desk, some seem not so interested in helping with questions. My first night here I tried getting someone to show me around for my first time and they told me I need to schedule it. So I just left instead of trying. My 2nd time I went with a friend, they were slightly more helpful and they were friendly, made entering feel comfortable. Thank you for that! However, I don’t know how to use the machines. And I would like to use the weight area instead of cardio. All I need is someone to show me how to use the equipment. I’ve not even had anyone offer any help, answer questions, nothing. I used to be a gym junky, strictly cardio and running, it’s been years. Anyways. One more complaint. Those Massage Chairs are horrible! For one, very painful. The first time I sat in chair 2 and they turned it on. Wow. That thing is so wore out it’s just very thin material over those things that move. And they are very painful! I’ve never been in one before that was so miserable. I had to get up and walk off the pain! The guy told me chair 1 is better. So the last time I went (Friday) I sat in chair 1. And it is NOT any better! Get them fixed or replaced. Even the guy at the desk admitted that those are really rough on people. And I am short. And the average people are short. Can y’all have height challenged massage chairs and the water massage as well? Or atleast a step so is shorties can climb a little easier....

Sent certified mail to the store I thought that was it no got my 49.00fee then got monthly dues. Called store talk to the first Mgr she told me sorry they don't check their mailbox outside Dan she said she would check it out one week later I called back for her she doesn't work there anymore was told find my receipt from post office show her she would check in to it so first Mgr told me I will get back my 49 dollars and my 24 99 and late fees taken from my credit card and my bank after 2 half months I called the number Mgr gave me to take care of it myself they refunded my bank card 49 dollars can't give me back the 24.99 or late fees because that was taken by the store calling back and emailing said each time 7 to 10 business days I will get refunde nothing ask them write me a check they had no problem taking from my bank nothing be very careful there u not coming back tell a friend. Read moreI’ve been going here on and off for about four years, and have been worked up to coming nearly every day since I got my license last year. Most of my workout is done on the elliptical and rowing machines, but there are weights I can use if I want to do a bit of strength training. I have the black card membership, so I always use the massage chairs or beds afterwards. There are also tanning beds but I don’t use them due to the potential for skin damage and premature aging. They don’t have some of the amenities you might find at Kennedy, such as a pool or a steam room, but that’s obviously because it’s so much more affordable. However it is extremely annoying when no one is manning the front desk and you want to use the massage chairs or beds etc or want to buy something and you have to go find someone in the back which is hard when you have anxiety. There should always be one person at the front desk to help people with stuff like that in my opinion, and if they don’t want to hire more staff switch to automated system that allows people to check in on their own. Also, the wifi is often spotty and doesn’t work when there’s a lot of people. I wish they would shell out for a larger bandwidth so that we could all use the internet even when it’s busy.
