I had the misfortune of having to do my 34 hour restart here as my delivery was only 9 miles away, and this is the only truck stop in the Paso Robles area. I first had to use the men's room, and because they would not spend just a little money and put a wall between the toilet and the urinal it was a constant wait in line as only one person at a time was allowed in the restroom. Next I decided to take a shower, but hind thought, I should have just gone and rented a motel room. 1st, the mirror was so dark for shaving because they put the light behind your head instead of over the mirror. 2nd, the vent was so clogged with dust that it felt more like a sauna. 3rd, every corner of the shower stall, and quite a bit of the grout was growing mold because the shower wasn't being cleaned and allowed to dry properly. 4th, the shower towel had a big hole in it, there was no floor mat of any kind for the smooth tile floor, and they did not provide a wash cloth unless you were willing to pay for it. The parking lot is unpaved, and anybody whose ever been to Paso knows what happens in dry lots when it's hot and windy. The employees all seem to be related, and apparently have know idea what customer service is all about. I should rephrase, if your a local your treated like royalty, but travelers get treated a whole lot differently. Several travelers including myself, made several observations to the cashiers and we're told point blank that they were not interested in what anyone had to say. Big mistake, since customers are the reasons their doors are open. I think next time I stop in Lost Hills or somewhere else and just drive the extra hour. For a truck stop that just recently reopened and wants to grow their business, they are sure off to a rocky start. There comes a time when you have to say screw the bottom line to do what's right, because the return is going to be so much better. You cannot grow a business if you first don't invest in the bigger picture of...

I rarely give any establishment 5 Stars, but this place totally deserves them! The food here is no joke! It is hands down one of the best meals you will have. The portions are ample and the prices are fair and the service is spot on! I'm from the South and they make a pretty good Sweet Tea here. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with diner style seating and tables. The young man behind the counter is genuinely friendly and pleasant.
The Big Rig Burger is GINORMOUS and could literally feed 4 people! Bun is soft, the vegetables are fresh and the meat is perfectly seasoned. The Monterrey Chicken was flavorful and juicy and it comes with a really fresh broccoli carrot mix.
Be sure to save room for dessert too, I reccomend the Cheesecake 🤘
We were able to shut it down here for the night and had the pleasure of trying the breakfast menu and we were not disappointed! I reccomend the ham steak with hashbrowns and grits! As with the evening staff, the young lady behind the counter is a doll and sweet as can be!
We will definitely be stopping...
Read more11/10 for so many reasons. The front bathrooms were clean and nice (locking room with one toilet, no mirror), while those were being cleaned, I got to use the shower/laundry bathrooms in the back pictures included). Not sure of the price to shower, but it’s probably worth it! Giant bottle of 2 in 1 shampoo, giant laundry sink and big mirror, ultra clean room/shower with a hook on the door and a stool for your items. Safe parking lot to sleep in, big semi truck lot behind the gas station and I stayed cool sleeping under the trees by the industrial lot fence line. There are some broken down cars there that don’t seem to ever move so there were no loud neighbors coming and going as I got a few hours of rest on the road. Also friendliest staff. They lent a man bike tools to fix a leak on his truck and chatted while he waited for AAA, giving advice for local tow/mechanic...
