McBee's General Store — Local services in Passaic

Knowing I was going to be passing by on a road trip, I called a day before to inquire if they also served lunch in addition to their raw carryout. I was told if I was there by 1PM, they would have hot brats with cold sides dishes. So I packed my cooler with ice to get brats to take home for me and several family members, and left an hour early to get there in time.

Anyway, arriving at 12:10 I was disappointed to to see the "lunch" was a haphazard self serve, and it was empty (probably lucky me as the sanitary conditions would never pass any health inspection at the many restaurants and C stores I have worked at).

We always enjoy going here to get brats. When out of state friends come to visit and want brats, we take them here because they are the best brats around! Our last batch we bought was pineapple, apple gouda and jalapeno pineapple. Pineapple is by far one of the favorites of ours and plenty other people. So much so that they sell so many that very few make it to the freezer for sale. The whole right side of the grill is regular pineapple.. Yes they are that darn good. Need another T-shirt McBee Family. I'm an older Country gal (yes a Tessa gal :)), but love a tank top/blouse but no midi even tho my stomach isn't to shabby but I'm not at an age it needs to be flaunted.
