Passing by and hungry for breakfast, we stopped. I'm glad we did because this is my kind of place. . Step up to the counter and wait your turn. Soon, one of the several young ladies will ask your order. The customers predominantly speak Spanish, but switched fluently to English for us. . I had studied how the previous patron had ordered, so we were ready to order out five tacos with doubled corn tortillas. We had a selection of barbacoa, carnitas, pastor, and others I simply pointed at from the steam table. I also thought the sausage looked too good to miss... so I didn't. I got an ample link lusciously seared. . She asked if we wanted onion, cilantro, and lime. The answer, of course, was yes. . After we received our order in a moment, we took a seat at their cafe tables. I then took my check to the front cash register to pay. No money changed hands at the counter. . All the food was terrific. I especially liked the pastor. The chunks of pineapple just hit this time. . We took coffee to go. Even that was good, piping hot and we think we detected...

This was my first time going in, since they recently opened and I was very impressed... the store is clean and well organized and carries a variety of items, which saved me a trip from having to go into Katy for last-minute knick-knack grocery. The staff was very attentive and helpful and bilingual which is a plus since I do not speak Spanish... there were also people sitting down eating fresh cooked tacos and they smelled delicious LOL I figured the food was good since I always see a lot of car there no matter when I pass by! So it was a good for experience and I do plan on going back to try their lunch menu and also try out their Fresh Meat Market...

They are open on Christmas day ♥ and I needed a few things... the minute I walked in I felt like I was at home in someone's kitchen it smells so good in there they were making fresh pork tamales and Menudo... I had never tasted menudo but just grossed out by the thought of what it was made with but it smells so good I had to try it as the lady offered me a sample and it was delicious I bought a huge container LOL I also bought some of the pork tamales they were making fresh and they are phenomenal so tasty I wish I would have bought more and put some in the freezer... Great prices and very friendly helpful people I will definitely...
