Hands-down, the worst business experience I’ve ever had. They had a picture of a full firearm which I purchased, and then they sent me only the upper receiver. Worst communication I’ve ever seen, spent days trying to get responses from them. Even told them not to ship it and to refund my money so we didn’t have to go through the hassle of returning it. My email went unheeded and unanswered until they responded that it had already been sent. Showed them pictures of what an upper receiver looks like, and how other companies show just a picture of an upper receiver as opposed to the full weapon. The words upper receiver were not Anywhere on the page, unless you scroll to the very bottom where it said in a small box “Like items: Upper Receiver.” Nowhere in the big, bolded sales description does it mention the word upper receiver. They said they wouldn’t send a return label because it was not their mistake. False advertising, dishonest, flippant, and terrible customer service. Plenty of other online firearms retailers like Buds gun shop, or Kentucky gun Company to spend my hard earned money on without having to deal with this idiocy. Attached is a photo of their original ad, showing its duplicity.

I placed an order for 1 S&W MAGAZINE M&P M2.0 10MM 15RD MAGAZINE on 4/29/23 and just found out today that it's not due to arrive till 6/9/23... That's a ridiculous 42 days later..!! I never got an appology, just excuses... This has been my first and last purchase from this company..!! Review update: To recap, I placed my order on 4/29/23, order was supposedly processed on 5/30/23, and a package was received on 6/26/23. That in itself is ridiculous..!! Now if that wasn't enough to deal with, but when I go to pick up my package, I see that it appeared to be open. It was actually not opened, but had been opened and taped back shut. But to totally fuel my anger and disgust, all that was in the package was an opened and empty magazine package..!! I've demanded a refund and will follow up with another review pending the outcome. I would not recommend this company to anyone..!! Dack Outdoors finally made it right by refunding me my total purchase amount..!! I just wish that they would reconsider their shipping method! Thank you for making this right, but the 30 days to ship is just plain ridiculous... Just Saying. Good Luck and Take Care..!! Regards, Nick

Customer service may be a bit slow but so far their prices are great and I did do my own research , I heard they take a while to ship but I’m not in any rush , building is a hobby of mine and it takes time for me to find the right parts but they have an excellent team that has responded to me every time . Their website has a great variety of products for whatever build you’re looking to make and their prices are probably some of the best I’ve come across . If you don’t mind waiting and like doing business with awesome people , I’d say do business with them , I’d personally rather help a small business vs a mainstream warehouse even if it takes time . I don’t think people understand how much hard work it takes to be in the firearms business . This is just my opinion but I’d say 5/5 for their prices , team and communication . Hope this helps those people who are willing to wait .

Customer service may be a bit slow but so far their prices are great and I did do my own research , I heard they take a while to ship but I’m not in any rush , building is a hobby of mine and it takes time for me to find the right parts but they have an excellent team that has responded to me every time . Their website has a great variety of products for whatever build you’re looking to make and their prices are probably some of the best I’ve come across . If you don’t mind waiting and like doing business with awesome people , I’d say do business with them , I’d personally rather help a small business vs a mainstream warehouse even if it takes time . I don’t think people understand how much hard work it takes to be in the firearms business . This is just my opinion but I’d say 5/5 for their prices , team and communication . Hope this helps those people who are willing to wait .

Dack seemed like a great little family run business with ok prices, on top of that I got free shipping. This was hands down the worst internet gun purchase I have ever made. I thought that because Dack was so transparent on the website about their 30-day shipping practices that all the negative reviews were just ignorant as they have posted everywhere that it takes 30 days to ship any items which is all fine and good if they could deliver as advertised. 7/23/24 - I placed order #524882. 7/29/24 (+6 days after order) – I got an email stating they need my FFL info. According to their website they already had my FFL on file, it was even on the confirmation email with my order number. I sent it back the same day asking for confirmation that everything is correct, and then got an email back the following day saying they now have my FFL. Whatever, not the biggest issue, at least it looks like they are working on my order is what I thought at the time, I could have also mistakenly saw they already had my FFL on wile when they did not. 8/6/24 (+14 days after order) – I logged into my account just looking to see the status of my order. I find my order is not attached to my account; I did find an article on their help site stating that you can just email support to fix the issue. It’s possible I was not logged into my account when I placed the order, again just like the FFL this could have just been my mistake. I reached out to support the same day. 8/12/24 (+20 days after order) – Got a response back a week laker from Anne who has fixed the error and got the order back on my account. Anne was very friendly in her email. 8/22/24 (+30 days after order) - Exactly 30 days from my purchase date I got an email stating that my order is now processing. So, this whole time my order has just been sitting, and now on the 30th day they are now finally getting started is what I am thinking. Still not a huge issue, again I thought these guys were being very transparent from the beginning, if my order goes out within a few days I see no problem. 9/2/24 (+42 days after order) - My order is still in a processing state, also the gun I purchased is now listed as out of stock and has been relisted with a +$80 price tag. I am starting to think they no longer have this gun in stock as I had read multiple reviews on Google and Reddit that this exact same thing has happened to a multitude of other customers. So, I reached out to support again via email. The email is never responded to at any point in time. 9/4/24 (+44 days after order) – Reach out to support via their chat system, I also open a dispute with my CC company. 9/6/24 (+46 days after order) – Hear back from Anne at support, she provides shipping info and tracking number. She is also very polite and gives me a rundown on all their internal issues and how they are understaffed. I don’t really care too much about why the order was delayed, just that it was delayed, and the fact that they are radio silent the entire time. 9/9/24 (+49 days after order) – Gun is received by FFL. Gun arrived and was exactly what I bought. I did end up with about a $20 savings and free shipping over other websites offering the exact same product. But it took almost two months to arrive, if their website said as much, I would be giving them more stars. Every other review I read seems to indicate that my experience is not unique and if anything is one of the more positive results using this supplier. Overall, I would most likely not shop here again but would be willing to if I found a really good price on an item that I am not worried about the order getting canceled. The item I bought was something I had been wanting for a while so the expectations of only having to wait around 30 days really starts to rub you the wrong way on day 45 when there is no guarantee that the item is even going to arrive and support always semes to be 3-5 days away if they even do...

Please do NOT support this business! Read all the negative reviews here and on Reddit and on the BBB site. They have a Better Business Bureau rating of "F" for a reason. Please learn from our mistakes and steer clear of this company! The very slim possibility of you actually receiving your order at all, the even slimmer chance of them shipping within 30 days, and the very good chance that after a couple months you will be emailing their DackBot automated customer service to try to get your order refunded is not worth potentially saving a couple dollars! Here is my experience with them (that I could have avoided if only I'd read the reviews about this despicable company): I placed an order with Dack Outdoors on 7/20/2025. Over 30 days went by and I received no communication/notification/indication that the order was shipped or was even being prepared to ship. I then read numerous reviews of Dack Outdoors with customers complaining that Dack Outdoors would take their money then after 40 days or so would cancel the order and refund it essentially borrowing customer money and not providing the customer the product they ordered. As this sounded similar to what I was experiencing with Dack Outdoors I contacted Dack Outdoors for a refund on 8/21/2025. I received an automated email reply from DackBot telling me: "A support rep should respond to your inquiry in about 24 hours" and a second automated email reply from DackBot telling me: "we have marked your inquiry as a top priority so that your customer support rep knows it's urgent." Not 24 hours later but instead 5 days later I received an email reply from Anne at Dack Outdoors telling me she can refund my orders but that there would be a 5% cancellation fee on one of my orders. I replied telling her I had lost faith in their company after reading so many complaints and reviews and because they violated the terms of the first order by not even shipping the items when 30 days when they state on their website that "In some cases, orders can take up to 30 days to ship." I feel this business has some very shady business practices and should not be accepting and holding money for items that often do not ship at all and the few that may actually ship likely only do so after AFTER more than 30 days. There are so many reviews and complaints about Dack Outdoors not shipping the products that the customer paid for and often well over 40 days to 2 months before returning the customer's funds that they were quick to take and hold onto. I wish I had read the reviews about Dack Outdoors before placing my orders with them. I echo the sentiment of the hundreds of other customers when it comes to Dack Outdoors... Dack Outdoors should be ashamed of themselves for their fraudulent business practice of taking customer funds, holding onto those funds and not shipping the order for months or as many have stated never shipping the order. They try to come off as good people and a small family run business who care about providing good customer service but these people are NOT good and they provide awful customer service by not shipping items at all or within their already crazy long shipping time quote of "up to 30 days" they are quick to take your money, they will hold it for months without shipping your order, and then when you contact them their idea of "personalized customer support" is an automated email from DackBot with lies in it then a long time to get your money back to you and they want to charge you a 5% cancellation fee. These people are dishonest scammers and should be ashamed of themselves. Please do NOT give them...

I did not have a good experience with Dack Outdoor. They had competitive prices and a free shipping special deal so I thought I would send them a small $100 test order of 9 different items to see if they were worth my business. I was mostly interested in ammo because I buy a lot and like it cheap. I was really hoping Dack would work for me because they did have some decent pricing. I did not like that they said “Our shipments can take up to 30 days” but I was willing to wait 30 days to give them a try. However, I should have looked at some reviews before giving them a try because I would never have ordered if I had known several rating/review sites give Dack more 1 star ratings than 2,3,4 and 5 star ratings combined. They also have a “F” rating from the BBB. Do not make the mistake I made CHECK OUT SOME REVIEWS AND RATINGS BEFORE YOUR GIVE DACK YOUR BUSINESS. Perhaps they treat local customers better but they treat online customers like crap. They lie about delivery/shipment times, and quantity in stock repeatedly. 30 days after ordering I started sending enquirers and responses took 3 or 4 days to get and usually did not even address the issue or answer the questions asked. Most responses were not specific to my order at all and looked like a generic copy and paste form letter with platitudes or vacuous statements like “we are sorry it has taken longer then 30 days”, “Your satisfaction is our number one priority”, “we will ship your items as fast as possible” and most message also had something like “let me know if you want to cancel and get a refund” But you don’t ever want to do that because many reviewers report that when they finally gave up waiting and asked for a refund Dack charged them a 5% cancellation fee. So you give them a interest free loan for 30- to 60 days and then they keep 5% of your refund because “they” could not deliver what you ordered even though the web site said they had the item in stock. That doesn’t seam fair to me at all. When I finally did get an answer as to when order would be shipped it ended up being a lie too and was not actually shipped until about a week later. I did finally get my order 44 days later. The small savings I got was not worth all the problems, headache, frustrations and the long wait. Dack Outdoors failed miserably on my test order and I will be avoiding them in the future. Please take a few moments to look at some of the reviews and ratings before you buy.
