Chief Supermarket — Local services in Paulding

Absolutely do not buy anything “fresh” from this store. On multiple occasions I’ll buy their more expensive “fresh” ground beef and I take it home cut into it and it’s pure grey in the inside. Recently I went to buy some lunch meat some peppers and some cilantro. The lunch meat looked good from the outside but after taking off the first few layers the rest was blue and started to smell after only a day, the peppers I cooked that night and weee fine and the cilantro I used some of and left the rest in my fridge, the very next day I try to eat left over tacos and the cilantro is half slimy and smells putrid. All of their product sit in the shelf until they sell it there’s no quality control except for the deli where they make too many cales and throw them out the same day idk who has ever bought a cake here. They push out their old lunch meat for a “discount” which is still more expensive than fresh cut lunch meat from Walmart and is already in the process of spoiling. I see why they put up their little liquor store to convince the local drinks to give them some money because anyone with half a care in the world for their health wouldn’t even trust buying cereal here. I live in Paulding and the only reason I’ve shopped at chiefs lately is out of convenience. My boyfriend had the flu and I didn’t have it yet. So I went in for some sandwich stuff a can of Lysol some Gatorade and soups. For 2 bags of groceries it was $50 never again. You end up paying double what you’d pay at Walmart for most thing. This grocery store is trash. They charge double the price on everything and give a quarter of the quality. There is ALWAYS rotted and moldy produce out for sale. No one ever knows how to do anything or how to answer questions. They just say you have to call corporate. This is a terrible place to shop and I feel so bad for the residents here that cannot go to another city and are forced to have less because of the greed of this...
