I have been picking up loads from this gated facility with excellent security at the gate. The requirements for entry and pickup are very straightforward and well-organized. Here are some of the key requirements:
Slide your trailer tandems to the rear. Drive inside the facility and park, then proceed to the shipping office for check-in. An appointment is required. If you are close to your scheduled time, they will prioritize your request and assign you a door quickly. Ensure your reefer is switched to the appropriate on/off mode while being loaded. It is important to turn off all truck lights while you are being loaded or unloaded.
I must say that the management of this facility is highly professional. Having been a regular visitor to this facility for the past eight years, I have never encountered any issues. I would like to express my gratitude to the management for their efficient operation.
Regarding overnight parking, I am not entirely certain if this facility provides that service. However, based on my experience, it seems unlikely. There is a small space outside the security gate that can accommodate trucks and I believe you can stay there if needed.
Overall, I highly recommend this facility for its secure environment, clear requirements, and professional management. Thank you to the entire team for their dedication and excellent service.

Read moreGood place to pick up a load. Pull up to guard shack off of Red Arrow Hwy. Give guard your pick-up number, and he will instruct you to slide tandems all the way back before he will let you in. Drive in, and you will see empty trailers on your right and dock doors on your left. After passing empty trailers, on the right will see a staging area, and there will be other trucks parked. Park there and walk your paperwork to cold shipping. There will be a big blue sign, it's n3xt to door 42. The guard should have given you a paper to fill out. Fill that out and take it into the shipping office. They will give you a door or have you sit in your truck and wait for a call. They have a lot of doors but are normally full with dropped trailers / preloads, so more than likely, you will be waiting for a door. There is overnight parking in the front by the gate , but for 4 or 5 trucks. If you get in and get loaded and run out of time, I see other drivers take there 10 hour break in the staging area. I'm not sure if that's allowed, but I have never seen anyone kicked out. There is plenty of space to back in doors, and friendly staff. The only reason for 4 stars is they never have open doors to load you. You will be waiting. Also, it takes a long time to get a door and get loaded. Not bad place,...
Read moreUsed to be a great receiver, but since the people at the guard shack run the place nowadays, not so much. I called the receiver that I'm almost a day early for my appointment and they said they'll take me as soon as I can get there, but the guard had a different opinion and he said he can't let me in any earlier than 4 hrs before my appointment. I told him to call the office but he refused to do so and told me to park at the muddy spot just in front of the guard shack, where I had to wait until 4 hrs before my appointment out of "safety" concern. I'm sincerely fed up with places where the security personnel behave like they own the place.
UPDATE : After a couple more times I've dropped and picked up there recently, I'm pretty sure all that ruckus is caused just by one particular security guard. I'm hoping this was just a bad apple and it's not gonna become a norm. All the people inside are pretty nice making this place one of a few, where they don't treat us drivers...
