Went in because my phone just quit. I told them I wanted to stay with an android not necessarily a galaxy but before I knew it the sales rep was ringing up and setting up an s22, the newest phone possible. I was never told a price through the whole process and never explained my invoice. I was just told my old phone qualified for $800 off . Then it went to$400 later in the process. I was sold a new charging block because they no longer come with the new phones. I went to my car and realized the new cord wouldn't work with my cars fm Bluetooth adapter so I went back in and was sold a another cord that has the usb end I needed. At that point they could've told me I could return the block because this cord would take care of my Bluetooth and charging issues but I wasnt told that and because I was never explained my invoice I was thinking the case, screen protector and block were part of the 400 off. But nope, that was part of the almost $300 out of pocket I had to pay before walking out of the store. Then I was asked to leave a review to which the salesman graciously gave himself a 5 star rating. I was also told switching my plan to unlimited data would be cheaper than what I've had for about 12 years.... it's not- it's $40 more a month. I'm not impressed. I called Verizon and they suggest I go back to the store to talk to someone about credits but I don't like conflict and the way this all went down, I'm sure it won't help. My fault for not asking questions but I told them I've had the same phone for 8 years, everything's changed so much that I didn't know what to ask. I was hours away from the Verizon store and my phone was suddenly disconnected from all forms of communication by a store employee in North Mankato who was trying to add a line to our account. I spent hours on the phone with Verizon robots to simply find out why my phone just disconnected by adding a line and I didn't step foot into the store. No one could help me! Out of frustration I drove to Paynesville Verizon and was greeted by Matt who ended up spending hours fixing the problems created by North Mankato Verizon. I cannot say enough about Matt and his ability to straighten out any issue that arises. I will be going to Matt for all my purchases in the future even though it's out of my way. Matt took the time to help and didn't make a sale that day but did create a lifelong customer. ...
