One of the best kept secrets in the west. Payson is a wonderful little town with a dynamite airport and airpark. We even have a campground right on the airport, complete with bathrooms and showers. The Boy Scouts just built a gazebo for the campground! Self fuel is one of the cheapest around, both Avgas and Jet A.
The Crosswinds Restaurant serves up a great meal: breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Darla and her crew will encourage you to have one of their homemade pies. So be careful. Weekends are full of airplanes and hungry pilots from all over Arizona.

Read morePayson Airport (KPAN) is a well-run GA airport. Its runway surface is smooth and long enough for normal GA aircraft, even on a warm day. The reasonably priced fuel is available at the west end of the runway, and at 25 gallons per minute, it doesn't take long to top off.
