PSA: BUYER BEWARE â Elegant Wholesale Outlet
I hate that I have to make this, but I donât want anyone else being taken advantage of by this company. I purchased a Loweâs tool load from them at the end of July; it was unmanifested but I received a picture of every single pallet that I would be receiving. When it arrived, it was missing 4 of the most expensive pallets and had much worse ones in their place. Their salesman was apologetic about the situation and assured me that he would find like for like replacements and have them LTLâd to me at no cost.
After giving them 2 weeks to get this sorted, I sent numerous texts and phone calls looking for a status update and was just ignored. I managed to get the owner on the line Tuesday afternoon, explained the situation, and was told that theyâd have it sorted for me by the next morning. They have now gone back on their word, and their new offer is to just tack on a couple pallets to my next order with them, which I believe is unacceptable.
They have refused to offer any money back to cover the missing inventory. Given that this inventory is worth approximately $12,000 retail, this is a huge loss for me. Their salesman has been unprofessional, unapologetic, and has ignored my communications repeatedly. The owner has been an utter disappointment as he has been combative, dismissive, and unethical. I was told that Lowes was at fault since this came direct from their DC, but after further investigation, I believe this was a lie. The pictures of the pallets clearly show their small warehouse, so I believe that they intentionally gave me the wrong pallets while keeping all of their markup/commission. This is borderline fraud and I am ashamed at the way they do âbusinessâ.
UPDATE: @Jerry How are any of these comments unmerited? Please elaborate. And it is a blatant lie to state that you offered me "advantageous solutions" and you know it. Guaranteeing certain product, intentionally not sending it, then saying that you'll send more when I buy another load from your deceptive sales staff is purely advantageous for you, and just might legally fall under fraud. This is...
Read moreAfter being home and getting unloaded I have found some time to reflect on my trip to Elegant Wholesale Outlet.
-My visit as a first timer started early on a week day. I walked through the doors, within 30 seconds I had the owner greet me, ask me if I was a first timer, and without hesitation gave me the entire tour, rundown, and everything to help me become successful as a first time buyer!
-The facility itself was extremely clean, well organized, and as a first timer, it was easy for me to identify what was what.
-Not only was the owner extremely helpful, but every employee asked me if I needed any help or had any questions. This is a family owned and operated type of business, they are here to take care of their customers, and it shows!! One of the employees (Dennis) went above and beyond! Nowadays you will hardly see this great of customer service throughout one business!
The payment process was flawless. They conveniently offer several different options! (Cash, zelle, debit etc)
-The pallets (I purchased 2) were very clean, just unloading and taking inventory, I spent $500 on one, and itâs easily $3000 worth of merchandise. I have yet to inventory the second one that I purchased. I will be back for an update! đ
I am beyond grateful that I did my due diligence and made the decision to shop with Elegant Wholesale Outlet! The customer service is top tier, the entire process overall was fantastic. I will be a returning customer! I highly recommend...
Read moreI went here last weekend because I kept seeing all these great reviews and seeing them post on Facebook about new customers trying to build their business. After weeks of watching and seeing people speak so highly I went myself. I used my savings to buy pallets hoping to flip them pretty easily. I bought one over the phone and when I got there I was so nervous, no one would take the time to talk to me about the pallets or how it all works. So I asked about the chainsaws and vacuums to see if I could switch them around. Well he let me, after a worker told me they were all refurbished items, and the guy winked at me and said âyeah thatâs a lot better dealâ just for me to get home and see that all of them were returns $794 of scrap metal and plastic later Iâve only made back $60 because I donât have the money to buy new parts for these chainsaws and the vacuums are mostly broken. Having four kids and trying to make a living I feel like as a woman they took advantage of the situation after I explained I was a first timer and had no idea what I was doingâŠ. I was really hoping to make a good connection there and continue to do business with them instead I lost out on a lot...
