Pembroke Stop N Save — Local services in Pearisburg

I gave two stars only because they have nice stuff and certain staff seem to be friendly but as for others they can be quite rude, I called and spoke with a lady that said they didn't close until 8:00 today on Saturdays which is also what it says when you look up the hours online and then drove a hour away just to get there at 7:06 and a man proceeds to tell me that they just closed and I tried to explain that I just spoke with a lady that said 8 and that it also says 8 online and all he kept saying over and over is "well we already shut the computers down, were CLOSED and I don't know what lady you talked to but we already shut the computers down, were CLOSED" which the lady I talked to was the only other person standing in the store. I still would recommend them because they do try to keep the latest items in the store I always end up spending at least $50 but just make sure you go before 7 and avoid the people with attitudes who don't care about...

I was looking for a Browning X-Bolt in .243 left handed so I called Browning and asked who might have one. They directed me to Pembroke Stop N Save. All I can say is Tony and Tim are great to deal with. Since I am over 250 miles away they allowed me to put the gun on a lay away with my credit card over the phone. Renee was very professional about taking the payments and faxing me reciepts. The price was fair and once I made the full payment it was shipped to my FFL immediately and I had the gun 2 days later. I mounted a Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-14x40 scope on it and it is amazing. I think I could hit a quarter at 200yds with Hornaday SST ammo. Awsome gun, fair price and great service at Pembroke...

From the First time I walked in this store to the last time I was there great service! Tony is very friendly and informative about everything they got in the store. Tim is the man when it comes anything archery. Steve and Zach are helpful and will do there best for what ever reason you came in for.
