Very disappointed in this pharmacy. Was told when to come in to pick up our prescriptions came at that time to be told that they weren’t ready. Asked a medicine question to the girl at the counter, who was not friendly or eager to help us, to which she did not know the answer to and the pharmacist with the thinning hair and combover, acted like he wasn’t in the room and made no effort to help whatsoever. So they told us to come back in 20 -30 minutes or so, so we did that only to find that they were closing the pharmacy for their lunch break. So my stuff wasn’t ready, and had to wait, was told “we were swamped “….(some of these prescriptions were called in YESTERDAY) then have to wait another half an hour while they eat their lunch… I have never had a pharmacy that closed at lunch. Might seem petty with everything that is going on in the world , but I think this pharmacy needs to work on their customer service. His hair is only mentioned because I wanted to differentiate between him and a different pharmacist that was there one evening last week who was wonderful. Nice friendly and happy to help, as were the pharmacy techs there that night. We just moved here and haven’t been able to have a Walgreens near us in many years and I have to say it is NOT like I remembered… very...
Read moreI'm switching pharmacies as we speak to Giles pharmacy. I had to have a medication the day I left the doc. Which is a heart pill/blood pressure medication. They were closed at 4pm! No text, automated call or any type warning to the customers. Then called the next morning to get my medication filled & they said they didn't have the meds to wait for the "truck" to deliver it at 2pm. Called at 2:35 & they proceeded to tell me it wouldn't be there until tomorrow! I needed it yesterday & expressed my concern. Suddenly, they had some in stock but wouldn't be ready until after 4pm. Not acceptable! What if people needed medication & it was life or death. Say a diabetic situation. Smdh, not dealing with this anymore. And no, this isn't the first time...
Read moreI miss the Rite-aid. Called to refill prescription on Wednesday for pick-up next day. Next day tried to pick-up and pharmacy was closed, no pharmacist on duty and it was not lunchtime. Two days later, after standing in pharmacy line for 15 -20 minutes, finally got prescription. When I got home realized I only received 1 box of medication…should be 2. The nightmare continues, now I have to call their terrible automated phone system and listen to the repeated messages before I can ever speak to a person. I will say the workers are always kind and try to help, this seems to be a...
