If anyone remembers the store, Tandy Leather Company in the Jackson Square Shopping Center. My dad was the manager of that store. He would go, I think for a couple to a few years & set up a display of what he sold in the store. I was really young back then, I would either go with him or go with both, my mom & dad. I 💙 loved going to the Choctaw Indian Fair. Yes, there was a carnival also. But, the different things back then that were displayed or in the process of being made. They were absolutely beautiful. I plan on going this year, I know some will remember my dad & me.

Lots of things to see and do and you can learn so much about the Choctaw Nation and local communities. Very worthwhile. Lots of help to get from the parking area to the festival. If you’re a runner or walker, you must do the Rez Run. So well organized. Beautiful shirts and medals. Can’t say enough nice things about the entire Fair....
