I don't normally write reviews, but my experience with Austin at Rooms To Go in Pearl River was so exceptional, I felt compelled to share. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm smile and a genuine aura of enthusiasm. Austin wasn't just another salesperson; he was a furniture matchmaker, a maestro of home design.

He took the time to listen to my (admittedly vague) vision for my living room. I wanted something cozy and modern, but also timeless and functional. Austin didn't just point me towards the nearest clearance rack. He asked questions, delved into my lifestyle, and patiently navigated my indecisiveness. He even whipped out his phone to show me Pinterest boards for inspiration!

I have been visiting the Pearl River location for years & it never disappoints! Thanks to my customer service expert, Erica and Assistant Manger, Jessica, we left with everything my daughter needed to start her fist home! We left with much more merchandise than intended because of the deals we found. Erica & Jessica, “the dream team” made the experience of buying multiple items a breeze! Both were so attentive to our needs & budget. They understand we were purchasing for a new start & took us straight to items that met our needs.

I would like to add, I watched these customer service experts run between multiple inquiries and still maintain professionalism. However, it was disappointing to see the way customers would speak to these individuals while it was easy to see they were giving 100%. I would bet they have a shortage in staff, as everyone does right now but no consideration for these professionals who were absolutely working as hard & fast as they could. I was happy to remain patient and wait my turn with the deals that were made.

Please be kind when visiting retail organizations with the environment we are all operating in. If an individual is willing to work right now, thank them for their efforts instead of criticizing the fact they were trying to service multiple families simultaneously.

I generally have a great shopping experience at this Rooms To Go location (Pearl River). Being an outlet you have to visit frequently to find items you may want to purchase. I do visit often to look around for pieces of furniture I want but can wait to purchase.

Phil was an sales associate. He acknowledged us as he continued working. No sales pitch, walk on your heels, or over dramatics to get a sale; just a simple let me know if you need anything. Well, we eventually needed assistance with a pull out couch. With out being asked, Phil walked over and opened the couch and gave a little information. Let us know he was available and continued working. When we were ready we called him over to get some information about to couches we were interested in buying. He didn’t wait for us to point every flaw. He came back with a great price on the sofa I actually wanted. Needless to say, he provided great service, was friendly, and extremely helpful.

Added note: I didn’t get her name, but one of the ladies in the front office picked when I called to get a copy of my receipt. She was polite & really helpful. When I got to the counter & knocked for help another associate mentionedI’d be helped shortly. The woman(middle-aged, African-American) walked out with receipt printed and ready.

Only downfall is no plastic to wrap furniture if picking up.
