Dollar General — Local services in Pecatonica Township

Just watched my favourite crafting youtuber visit this store, absolutely horrified that an employee can ask if she is from around here? why, because she is Mexican!! really you need to let the staff know where you're from to shop there? so disgusting. Further more to then humiliate her in the shop and outside, call the manager as well, why? because she is doing a video and pictures of the supplies that would of actually made more crafters want to come, do your staff not like new customers? guess not especially if they are going to be asked IF THEY ARE FROM AROUND HERE. cant...

On 2/4/23 at roughly 7pm, i stopped by for the first time in Pec having been to Durands numerous times. Whomever the woman was working that night, is phenomenal and should be accommodated as such. I rarely leave reviews but she was extremely courteous, helped both myself and other customers quickly and competently yet also extremely politely. Not something you see often in the customer service industry...

Location is never open. Always a sign on the door saying that somebody will be there soon. Came on Christmas Eve looking to get batteries and it says sorry...
