I really hope they take my advice here because there is no way this place is going to stay open long if they continue like this, and I wish them success as it takes a lot of time, effort and money to open a business. Stopped in with my 10 year old today after seeing a print add. Most of the items were snack cakes and things like that. I did not recognize any of the brands, looked like stuff from a European convenience store. My son made a once through the place and didn’t want anything, nothing! If a “candy” store can’t peak the interest of a child it is doing something wrong. My huge hope is that they will go take a look at the candy store in Salem NH and get an idea about what kids like. Another place would be the Candy Manor in Chatham MA - yes, it’s a drive and probably seasonally open but they have always had the right idea. Penny candy, name brand gummies, jelly belly, etc.. Please adapt, it would break my heart to see another business go under in this economy. The lady working there was very nice. Go visit some kids and ask them what they would want to see in a candy store. Also, your website goes to some food company in Methuen, with no mention...

There are treats for all ages, from by the pound to blue-ribbon fancy boxed candies. And as magical as any child (or this adult) might find this treasure, I have to say the owner was even more impressive to me. She greeted me, gave me some samples and told me about her business, was so welcoming without being cloying l(ike some sales people)--just a down-to-earth lovely, lovely person who reminded me so of the long ago neighborhood, family store I remember from long ago. Just a wonderful...
Read moreI'm giving this a two-star review because I drove from Mass to New Hampshire to get there before they closed. Unfortunately this company had incorrect hours on Google and indicated they were open till 6 p.m. on Fridays . When I arrived, there store signs said they closed at 5pm. Business 101 tells you to understand what your store hours are and advertise the correct hours as appropriate. I was literally on my way to spend $500 on candy and got there at 5:30 when I thought they were closing at 6 per their Google listing.
Update: The store owner responded apologized and offered a 15% discount. Changed my rating...
