Sometimes you just wonder upon a place that you never imagined you would. I had heard for some time that this place prepared really good sandwiches and I wanted to find out for myself. So at lunch one day I went over and found out myself. I ordered a double steak hoagie with everything just like it’s on the menu. It was delicious. Look I’ve lived in the area all my life and most people like myself remember what we years ago called a “Joe Dial Hoagie “. This place makes one that resembles Joes. Joe’s was a sandwich shop in the middle of town that operated back in the eighties. They were known for making delicious subs of all types but the standard was the steak sub. Union Grill prepares theirs in a similar manner. Give it a try and I’m sure it will take you back to a time that all locals that remembers Joe and his family business will say this is just like his. Of course they prepare other excellent items but I just can’t get beyond the double steak sub with the red cherry peppers, onions, cheese and lettuce and tomatoes.
