Visited last weekend and had a good experience. Rented a house nearby and thankfully the owner left us the wristbands which they did check and after reading previous reviews, I'm glad they did and were prepared. The beach was not overly crowded and it was a nice sunny day. The pool looked nice and we didn't have time to rent kayaks or paddle boats but it's cool that they are available. Although, we asked one of the employees who worked the entrance to the beach, how much it costs to rent the kayaks and they didn't know. The playground also looked nice for kids. I will agree with someone's previous review that there were no signs or anything directing you on how to enter. We just had to figure it out on our own. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

We spend every summer in this community with our kids. This lake is amazing, it is clear and warm during summer. A lot of activities including paddle boards, volleyball, kids playground, pool, beach and etc. we love it here.

For residents and guests of the houses only. Requires wristbands to access amenities as a guest. Neat area off to the right with great views across the lake.

Small beach with a limited number of wrist bands. Came here for a family vacation and we were not given enough wristbands for everyone to go to the beach or pool at once. Went to the beach on two separate occasions and both times the lifeguard was very standoffish. Numerous times she was absolutely screaming at both kids and adults (which I understand being a lifeguard is stressful and you have to yell, she was just so brutally rude to everyone). Half the time it seemed like she was not paying attention. The second time we went to the beach there was a thunderstorm coming in and soon it started thundering and lightning. The lifeguard did not evacuate the water and did not even bother to look at the storm. She completely ignored the storm and eventually people started to get out of the water. We stayed until it started raining and at no point did she try and get anyone out of the water. It just seemed like she did not care what was going on. Not a great attitude as a lifeguard, especially when there were numerous children...

This is a place of a million rules and no fun allowed. They make it apparent that outsiders and renters are not welcome and this place is only for the golf cart rich members. The staff are all rude and enforce the smallest of rules. This would all make sense if we where at a 5 star resort but all they have to provide is a dirt beach, 20 feet of swimming area full of rocks and a motel pool. Would not recommend staying anywhere in the Towamensing community, go and enjoy the...
