The Grist House Beer Crib is more than just another taproom. Much more. Itâs literally a place âwhere everybody knows your name.â Itâs a place where friendships are made and where friends continue to gather. I can always count on someone I know being there at the bar, or having a meal, or throwing some disc golf out back. My man Scott is always ready with a beer for me as soon as I walk in. Speaking of Scott, heâs a bartender like no other. Always attentive, always suggesting a new style to try and always good conversation. The rest of the crew is amazing as well and always happy to see you. The kitchen is run by Freedom Farms and everything on the menu is worth trying at least once. They are also dog-friendly, which is always a plus for me and my faithful hound, Bailey. FunnyâŚI havenât even mentioned the beer yet. If youâre at all familiar with âGristâ, as us locals call it, then you already know they have some of THE BEST liquid in western Pennsylvania. I highly recommend Hazedelic Juice Grenade, Space Cactus, Molecular EffectâŚany of their NEIPAs really. If youâre more into fruited sours or light lagers, they have a phenomenal, rotating selection of those as well. Come join me sometime! Iâll buy you a beer if you...

For the life of me, I don't understand what happened. I even went up to the counter and asked if these were the $5 side, and the chef acknowledged it was. Oh well, you can't win them all. The beer is...

When commenting on this disparity to the bar lad he copped an attitude and got lippy instead of saying something like I'll pass that one to the...
