The James E. Bonine House — Local services in Penn Township

We discovered this important and impressive historical place quite by accident as we took the backroads on a recent Southwest Michigan excursion. Tours were not open at the time — but the weather was beautiful and grounds were recently mowed & manicured so we got out and walked around the perimeter of the beautiful home and captured several images with great outdoor lighting from above. I am a proud of this part of Vandalia’s history, but I am sad that what is a symbol of freedom is taking away freedom by requiring its guests to wear mask.
