The cutest resort in Arizona 😍😍😍 #cebola #arizona #bluegreenvacations #vacations
Steven SurakSteven Surak
It began at Bass Pro Shop, where we paid an initial $249 for at first a 2 night stay, but was sweetened to a 3 night by the salesmen when we at first said no. We were told that it would not be an issue for my wife and I and our 4 children in one room, and we found out different. We had planned to go and had a vehicle issue and so went online to change our dates, which incurred a $40 fee, that I'm sure was in the fine print, but we were never told about. Luckily when I called them and explained the cancelation they waived that fee and moved the dates for us, and again, I was told it would not be a problem for our party of 6 to be in the room we paid for. When it came time to confirm our stay with our party of 6, we were informed that due to fire safety reasons we would need an upgrade for an additional $250, I asked for my money back and they sent me to another associate. I explained the situation to the other associate and was told again that due to my party size being 6, they needed to put us in a 2 bedroom. The associate did drop the cost to $100 cost, and my wife and I accepted. It came across very much as if the right hand did not know what the left was doing. One at the resort, for a resort that is trying to get people to purchase a timeshare, I honestly expected it to be nicer. Don't get me wrong, the rooms they provide to those that are looking to buy are spacious and nice. The floors could be cleaner, and we were only provided one set of blankets and linens for the hideabed. I expected the lobby to be bigger and the staff to be friendlier when trying to sell me on something, most of the staff at the front desk were not smiling and did not seem to want to be there. 2 of the staff were whispering secrets and laughing between each other. It had the appearance that they were laughing about me, this type of banter should not be done in front of customers. The pool was the highlight of the whole trip. It wins in the way of what resort pools should be like. The Bluegreen sellers were very nice and informative. Although we did not purchase a timeshare this time, the offers were very tempting and would be something we would consider when money is not so tight. However, I think it could be run a whole lot better given the cost of it all.

We have been coming to Cibola Vista for 10 years. The location is beautiful and a great place to go to Lake Pleasant and other recreational areas. The exterior is well maintained with desert landscapes

The 2 bedroom unit is spacious with a king bedroom and 2 full beds in the other bedroom. Unfortunately the cleanliness was a disaster and maintenance was lacking.

We checked in at 6pm so we did not have an early checkin so there was plenty of time for them to turn over the unit. There is lack of management and oversite of cleaning, maintenance and security.

The kitchen had not been cleaned as the counters had crumbs and leftover food all over. The chairs also had food on them still. The floor also had food debris and garbage. We washed all the counters and the cleaning crew came to actually clean and mop the kitchen floor and the chairs.

Unfortunately it was the next morning when we discovered the bathrooms were in dire need of a good cleaning. On our shower the first morning the bath floor rugs were soiled with brown dirt on the floor facing side. The grout was brown even though it should have been off white - evidence of lack of real cleaning over a long period of time. And the shower tiles had mold on the grout as well. One shower had 2 conditioner bottles instead of 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner bottle mounted on the wall. The second shower had an empty shower gel bottle mounted to the wall.

The dishwasher did not have a functioning soap dispenser and the inside was full of rot. It was disgusting. We had to fix the door open and run a sanitizing wash first the rewash everything.

As to security, the screen doors were not locked and one screen door’s lock was broken.

It is unfortunate but I can no longer recommend this resort.

The pictures show where I rubbed the dirt off the grout and the mold on the...

We stayed here as part of a promotional package that we got from Bass Pro Shops. It was definitely worth it! We had to pay $150, I think, and we got it all back at the timeshare presentation. The one room unit was very nice, and the service was good; whenever we needed something, like a pack n play crib or extra sheets, they delivered it. There is a free coffee drinks machine in the lobby every morning. The place runs plenty of free activities throughout the day, like the ones that we attended during our stay were rock painting, a bounce house, and a s'mores night. There's also adult activities, like a karaoke night at the bar. Some of the activities cost money, but they were supposed to have a $ beside them on the activity calendar. They must have made a mistake with the s'mores night, though, because there was no dollar sign on it, but turns out it cost $3 per person. The lady running it was very nice though and only charged some of our family instead of all of us,. We enjoyed the property, with horses across the street, a nice big pool with water slides, lawn games, tennis court, etc. For families with kids, we recommend going out to the Maricopa live steamers train on Sundays, and also enjoying Lake Pleasant Regional Park for hiking trails, the Scorpion Bay Grill, or even the occasional stargazing night on their...
