The old company was so much better but since avenue 5 took over Iâve seen way too many problems. My fiancĂ©e and I used to love being in the hot tub, it helps with our chronic pain and loosening the muscles. We just went to the hot tub and itâs not even working and looks like it hasnât been clean since avenue 5 took over, itâs absolutely disgusting. On top of that if you try to email them about issues youâre having with your apartment you wonât receive an email back. They left a note on my door one day saying we arenât in compliance with the front yard area but when I went down to speak to anyone in the front office that day they just stared at me confused and proceeded to list things off that could be considered out of compliance which none of them related to anything I had in my yard. So I asked again and she said she wasnât sure why werenât in compliance then. So you sent out letters to people and donât even know why they arenât in compliance? She then told me to take pictures of my yard and send it to the email and they will respond telling me what isnât in compliance. I did exactly that and never received an email back. I even called them explaining everything in my yard and they just said theyâd leave a note for someone to get back to me with answers and they never did. Had to wait 10 days to figure out if we were getting evicted or not for something I didnât know was wrong. (I didnât get evicted).
Now itâs not the worst apartment complex. They are cute and spacious apartments and the previous ownership wasnât perfect either. When we first moved in I saw a lot of issues with our apartment that we had to get fixed like our kitchen light kept going out every week. The bathtub kept getting backed up after 1 shower. Our toilet has mold around the inside of the bowl and still does no matter how much we try to get rid of it. Under the stove smelled awful and the dishwasher did as well, we also had to get our dryer replaced because it just randomly stopped working one day. Our window lock in the living room doesnât even lock it just sits there and if we try to lock it, it pushes our window to where it had a space between the glass and the outside, thereâs no actual lock on it. NOW avenue 5 took over, they said they renovated the place. We had one of our friends move in the complex and she had told us that half her power outlets donât even work.    Read moreIf youâre thinking of moving to these apartments please think again these are not luxury apartments everything is wrong with them as soon as you move in , the only amenities they offer is a pool that is always dirty, Jacuzzi that doesnât work it does not warm up neither make bubbles, my biggest complaint is the way Kayla the manger handles things, she is very rude every time she knows sheâs wrong she tries to talk over you and make you feel little, she has zero communication skills she refuses to give tenants notices when people enter the apartments or work on the roofs , one day I was in the shower and I came out in my towel to find a maintenance guy standing in my living room I was not given a notice that he was going to enter that day, when I spoke to Kayla she said that they did give me the notice a month ago she gave me a specific date I have cameras in my apartment so I looked up that day and not one of the office staff walked by my apartment so they are liars, another reason why these people have zero communication skills I have a cat that I pay rent for so she can live comfortably in this apartment and during summer when it was 110° one of the maintenance guys pulled the plug and disconnected my AC unit for no reason once again I did not get a notice of this and Kayla had no clue that he did this either they donât communicate with each other , my poor cat was dehydrated very weak and when I called the office complaining all they said was oh we are sorry, please donât move here these apartments really suck and they want to charge like if their luxury apartments when theyâre not, these apartments would be great if they switched out the manager (Kayla) and re-trained all the other staff because no one knows when things are happening no one communicates with each other, this is why most of the reviews are about the staff so please read the reviews theyâre...
   Read moreI am not a resident. I visited this property on 4/13/19 to view the 1 bdrm 1.5 bathroom unit. When I walked in, the young lady sitting at the desk didn't seem interested in helping at all. I asked if I could view the 1 bdrm, and there were none available to view. She showed me pictures on her computer of what the until looked like. There was a 2 bdrm that there was a model for, but she said I needed to come back for an appointment to view it. There is no way I was going to return when I was already there.
The prices were decent, but I just felt that she was disinterested in her job. You are the face the company, and a little more pep would have made the experience better. I felt like I wasted my time visiting. This property is scratched off the list.
There is not a gym on site either, but the leasing agent said we are close to several gyms. Weird thing too is that in the 1 bdrm 1.5 bathroom unit, the half bath is upstairs with the bedroom, but the full bathroom is downstairs. That layout doesn't make sense to me.
