Perry's Liquor & Tobacco — Local services in Peru

I'm a CDL truck driver. I was passing through here because of all the flooding road closures. Just before Passing by Perry's liquor the coupling on my drag link, on the Wheel end broke and all the sudden I had zero steering . A gentle slope in the road eased me to the edge of the road and I set my brakes . I had a state patrol and then later a local sheriff stop to see if I needed any help. They didn't take the opportunity to inspect my truck from top to bottom LOL and they were really polite. With roadside assistance driving to Omaha to get the part I need, I walked to Perry's liquor to get a Coke. When I walk in the door I overhear a customer grabbing a couple of bottles of water for the broke down truck driver LOL I explained that that was me, and that I have water in the truck thank you I just stopped in for a soda. The shopkeeper bought me a soda and they were really chatty polite and friendly. Oh and they looked really well stocked with great prices. If you're a trucker, you should patronize people like this.
