Dollar General — Local services in Petal

I ventured into Dollar General with my coupon on my mind, Tied to my account, to save a dollar off on my drink to find. But my search was in vain, my hopes began to shrink, Until I finally found it, my orange juice, in a store back-link.

As I approached the register, feeling quite upbeat, The cashier's teasing made my heart skip a beat, About my pink phone case, it left me feeling sore, Wishing I could escape through the store's front door.

The systems were down, she rolled her eyes, My coupon was valid, but the machine didn't even try. I asked for her help, hoping for a solution, But instead, she just gave me a dismissive conclusion.

"Don't worry about it," she said with a flick, As I stood there annoyed and feeling quite sick. She rang up the price, completely unfazed, While I stood there, mouth open- Feeling utterly betrayed.

With no manager to hear my woe, I paid full price, feeling quite low. The cashier's behavior was void of grace, Beware of her teasing and lack of good taste.

The employees at the Old Richton, Petal city limits Dollar General are super, super nice and will help you anyway they can. The shelves stay empty. This Dollar General is always out of necessity items like milk, bread or other grocery goods. They are also always out of medical supplies and over the counter medications. I always see the employees trying their best to get the shelves stocked but they constantly have to stop stocking to check someone out or help customers in other ways. Its a losing fight because they will always put the customers in the store before anything else. The employees will look to see if they have what you need in the back and usually find it. I give the employees a high 10, store cleanness an 8, variety of items a low 4, item availability a low 2 and...

Staff is very friendly & attentive to customer needs. The parking lot & inside of store are always very neat & clean, the aisles aren't ever blocked with various junk! This particular store is one of the very few (if not the ONLY ) in my area that has consistent cleanliness AND great service since opening. Even during their busiest times, hardly ever (2-3 times out of 3 months) have I seen/stood in line at the registers; but if I did was only maximum wait time of maybe 3-5, if that! I just love💖 love💖 love💖 My DG home store!!!
