Petersburg IGA — Local services in Petersburg

I was crewing and cooking one 10-day leg of a two month sailing trip (Anacortes, WA - BC -Juneau & return) and needed to buy a few more things after a rushed provisioning stop in Ketchikan. This store can't compete with the lower 48 on selection or price but I had the best service I've ever had. Shopping in an unfamiliar store is challenging enough as is making last minute menu changes based on product availability. Every employee I met was super helpful. One (I don't remember his name - sorry) even stopped stocking a shelf and personally walked me to every item remaining on my list. Service like that is unheard of and was very refreshing. 5 stars, no hesitation.
