I wasn't sure what to expect when visiting the Fisher Museum but was impressed by the 23 beautifully executed dioramas. The models were made in the studios of Guernsey and Pitman, Cambridge, MA. The first 8 models were made under the supervision of the late Professor K. T. Fisher, first director of the Harvard Forest, 1907-1934. The construction of the subsequent models was directed by Mr. Albert C. Cline, Assistant Director and it took 10 years to build them with 7 people working full-time.
