Northwest Chinese Baptist Church — Local services in Phoenix

One of my favorite places to worship in 'The Valley of the Sun'! Experiencing in depth, Spirit leading and Spirit feeding messages in both separate Chinese and English services. Services open with foundational tradition hymns, as well as lead worship with great contemporary Christian music! They're a sincere welcoming Body of Christ filled families; who are gifted to really lay a banquet of delicious cultural foods in the multiple yearly events! Holding multiple mid-week study groups, that also incorporate 'good eats'. Near monthly, unique yet diverse Ladies Fellowship gatherings! [One just has to attend for themselves to really appreciate them. And yes, they uphold the meaning of 'hospitality' during these gatherings, too!] Overall, I've personally found NWCBC --- An all encompassing body of Christians who sincerely want to exhibit Christ's Love in Service, to one another, and to extended communities, as well as countries across the oceans. They are caring, loving families, who sincerely want to see You enjoying the Joy of The Lord...

This place is not a safe place to worship. I would stay far away, unless you don't care about your safety and life. The pastor was made well aware of situation that has been going on with a dangerous person that kept on harassing and stalking me. Despite many attempts of letting the pastor know and not doing anything about it, even when the police were called. Nothing was done and the perpetrator was not kicked out, despite pleas for my safety. It was clear that they weren't following the commandments of God and I could feel God calling me to leave and letting me know God is not being worshiped here. Once I left this church I saw exactly what was wrong with this church and why God is not being worshiped here. It’s been almost 2 years since moving to the area, attending Northwest Chinese Baptist Church has been an uplifting experience. The community is warm and welcoming, and the services are both inspiring and thoughtfully organized. I appreciate the meaningful messages, beautiful music, and the church’s dedication to community outreach. It’s a place where I feel supported and spiritually nourished each week, offering services in both Chinese and English, a vibrant youth program, and much more.
