Gary's Furniture — Local services in Picture Rocks

Great place with high quality furniture and even more importantly high quality service! Two years ago, my husband and I, bought a beautiful leather three piece livingroom set from this fine furniture store. Unfortunately, within less than a years time two pieces of the furniture started fading and wearing in several places. We simply called up the store and were very pleased to be connected with the stores owner, Gary. The owner was very kind, and after explaining our concerns he immediately had some employees come out and access our situation. Needless to say he apologized and explained it was a manufacturing defect and within two weeks the defective furniture was replaced with new, at no cost to us. That being said, due to our recent house fire back in December, we plan on buying the same exact livingroom set at Gary's furniture! Once a customer always a customer, Gary's is the best! I know this is a late review but I just want you or anyone thinking of buying from these dishonest people of the experience my husband and I had when we were building our new home. I bought the dining set the bedroom set and bedding from them in 2004 and our home was not ready in 2005 like i thought it would be by Thanksgiving. I asked the lady if she could hold it for us till the end of March and gave me a hassle and offered to put it in storage. I agreed to that but when we were ready for it in March of 2005, it was delivered in unsatisfactory condition and the dining set was not what I had paid for. The mattress was soiled. At the time were were in such a pinch to get moved before April 1st, our other house was sold and we had to move that we did not notice any of this until after a few weeks. I’m extremely disappointed with Gary’s Furniture and will never go back again. I bought 3 pieces of furniture there expecting them to last several years. The accent chair that I purchased started piling after only 2 months. I figured if it was doing this at 2 months, it’s only going to get worse. I spoke to a salesperson at the store who told me to bring the cushion back for them to look at. The store owner came out and looked at the chair and told me to use a sweater stone on it and that eventually it would stop. He would not even consider taking it back or let me...
