This place is amazing! The location is perfect, it is close enough to all of the action of Pigeon Forge, but far enough away that you feel very secluded. There are neighbors that are in the same area, but even though the cabins were occupied, they are far enough away that we did not notice them.
It is difficult for me to describe just how clean the cabin was. I have stayed at many cabins in the Smokies and typically when you first walk in you have that moment where all of the dust particles in the place are whipped up and you can see all of them sparkle in the sunlight. This place, had NO DUST! There was NOTHING floating in the air. We are neat freaks, and spent a few minutes walking around looking for dust, there was nothing for us to find.
My only complaint is the amount of pillows that are given, there are plenty on the bed but most of them are "decorative" and I didn't feel comfortable using them. A problem that is easily rectified by bringing a pillow.
Finally, my daughter forgot one of her stuffed animals and I worked with the owner and the cleaning personnel to have it returned to us. They took care of it extremely quickly. I highly recommend this cabin if you are staying in...
Read moreWe stayed in Nothin’ But Views, sharing accommodations with our daughter and her significant other. This cabin was very neat and clean when we arrived. There was everything we needed to enjoy our four-night stay. Mary Beth, the owner, was in touch all the way, giving us info on the rental and departure procedures. Her directions were detailed and spot on so we always knew what was expected of us as tenants. I thought that there would be more distant views of the mountains but we were very surprised to see that they were closer than the photos on the website showed. Stunning panoramas no matter what time of day and we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying it all. We didn’t do much cooking but there seemed to be everything we might have needed had we wanted to. I really can’t see a reason to book any other mountain cabin! It sits on the side of the mountain and the drive up and down is winding but not at all scary. This cabin, while about 10 minutes off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, is actually situated between there and Gatlinburg, making it a perfect location to explore either...
Read moreThe cabin itself and accommodation is good. The reason for 1 star review is the agent in charge of the accommodations; Mary Beth Schaffer. She is very unprofessional and had made the stay very uncomfortable. She advised us to unclog the bathroom ourselves when we arrived. It didn’t work and she sent someone on the last day of our 5 day visit. All 6 in our group had to use one bathroom. Then after checking out, she took pictures of our garbage where I had thrown my personal pan as it got burnt. She said that it belonged to the cabin and charged us extra. Even after trying to explain, she refused to pick up the phone or answer our texts. If you have any complaints/issues during the vacation, she will not be accommodating. I am also a photographer and after packing up our things in the car, we decided to make some drone videos around the property and she charged us a late fee as well. Overall the worst vacation experience ever. Would not recommend this lodge or...
